The BIG NEWS today is Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus at 7:08 AM EDT and Mercury in Virgo trine Jupiter in Taurus at 8:47 PM EDT.

Why do you think we need to feel pressure in order to get our ass moving? Some find it easier to work under pressure, rather than no pressure at all. Usually when we feel pressure, there is a risk of losing something. It could be a relationship, money, a job, an opportunity, a chance, a Good time, a ticket, or any number of things. There's nothing like pressure to Light a fire under your ass to instigate and initiate much needed change. Call it incentive or motivation, but whatever it is, it will change you.

So today we experience the exactness (again) of Venus square Uranus. The first time this aspect hit was back on Sunday - July 2, 2023 at 22 degrees. The reason why we are experiencing this same aspect again so soon is because on Saturday - July 22, 2023 Venus turned Retrograde at 22 degrees taking us back over the same set of degrees. On Friday - September 29, 2023 we will experience this same aspect again at 22 degrees for the 3rd time as Venus will then be 'Direct'.

Now why in the world would the Universe (God) want us to experience this aspect three (3) times? Retrogrades ALWAYS take us over a certain same set of degrees three (3) times. I believe retrogrades are "do overs" wherein God gives us three (3) opportunities (chances) to get something right before progressing forward. Having said that, retrogrades are a Good thing.

So here we are in the Venus square Uranus aspect again, coupled with a 'motivating force'. Hmmmmmmmmm, what do you think that motivating force is that makes you want to straighten-up and fly right? Why does it have to come to that to make you change? Maybe because you would lose a relationship (romantic or friendship), maybe you would lose money, maybe you would lose a job . . or maybe you would gain relationship (romantic or frienship), may you would gain money, maybe you would gain a job . . these are all motivating forces for change.

Also exact today, Mercury trine Jupiter takes complete control and turns on the motivational speaking microphone. This aspect is plugged in and ready to ram-jam, rock n' roll and get some stuff accomplished.

It is important to note that Mercury is the planet of local transportation and travel, while Jupiter is the planet of global transportation and travel. So this aspect definitely involves education and travel because Mercury rules grades K through 12 and Jupiter rules colleges and universities. This aspect definitely wants to learn.

These two (2) planets are in natural opposition and square to each other as Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, and Jupiter rules Sagittarius and Pisces (ancient ruler). All four (4) of these signs are Mutable signs, which either oppose or square each other. But under this trine, they are getting along very well.

The energy of Venus square Uranus, along with Mercury trine Jupiter blows air into the air and has the masses wanting to learn as they are bored stiff with same BS day-after-day. Gosh, we can all certainly relate to this politically, right? ARREST THE REAL CRIMINALS DAMN IT!

Mercury is the natural ruler of Gemini, which is an easily bored sign. I'm a Gemini. When I'm bored I will rock the damn boat and get everyone wet. You can thank me later.

Mercury is also the natural ruler of nit-picky, analytical, detailed and methodical Virgo. Sometimes details matter and sometimes they really don't. Do not get yourself wrapped up in a detail with the one you Love - friend or Lover and then suck the air right out of the atmosphere. What detail is more important than your relationship? Seriously! Preserve your relationship, friendship, and Love. That's the detail of Mercury that is important. Do not lose sight of YOUR happiness and desire to just Love someone simply due to one stupid detail that causes a relationship call it quits. Remember, Venus square Uranus is present.

This is fantastic energy to have a real conversation on the phone instead of texting. Sometimes you have to pick up the phone and talk.

Mercury trine Jupiter is all about mental abilities. I really encourage you to have conversations instead of texting during this aspect, because as we all know, texting does not reflect the tone in our voice and sometimes we really don't know where someone is coming from until we hear the tone. BUT, if we really know someone, then you would think that we know each other's tone.

Mercury trine Jupiter makes communication very easy and agreeable. If you need to settle a difference or just understand each other better, use this aspect. You can even state your opinion without having to agree on your opinions. I guess that's agreeing to disagree. You can reach an understanding with this aspect.

And on a different note, I would take the sales tactic of Mercury and the higher sales (fleet sales) of Jupiter with this aspect and I would negotiate EVERY DAMN THING. Call your credit cards and ask for a lower interest rate. They want to get paid and it is worth a shot because a lot of times they will do it. Call your insurance company and negotiate a lower rate because they will know you are searching for lower rates and will not want to lose your business. This aspect has MAJOR SALES attached to it, and Gemini energy (Mercury) along with their opposite sign Sagittarius (Jupiter) wants an even better deal. Wowza! When Mercury and Jupiter are tied together so sweetly, deals are made, deals are done and it's a done deal.

And get this, we are EXACTLY two (2) weeks out from Mercury turning retrograde on Wednesday - August 23, 2023. So now is the time to get your stories, communication and sales or buying straight. Also, get the maintenance done on your car such as oil changes, licensing, tires, etc. You DO NOT want to enter Mercury Retrograde with a list of mechanical fixes because you would be buying new or replacement parts during Mercury Retrograde.

Mercury trine Jupiter is great for - sales, marketing, promoting, advertising, traveling, writing, publishing, blogging, speech making, communicating and entertaining. This aspect LOVES to mix business with pleasure, like playing golf and talking business.

And let's not forget that Jupiter is abundant, expansive, lucky and financial. This aspect has financial ties.

This aspect also breeds an optimistic and fresh outlook with an obvious and crystal clear belief in the capacity to succeed.

Now folks, if you need an ugly motivating force to make you change and become a better person, these aspects will make certain you receive what you need. But if you are on your enLightened and fun path, then this could be a wonderful motivating force for change that is thrusts you forward instead of holds you back. Couples can benefit greatly, but I still would NOT get married or even go on a first date during Venus square Uranus.
