The BIG NEWS today is Mercury in Leo is quincunx to Neptune in Pisces accompanied by four (4) lunar aspects.

The day begins with Mercury quincunx Neptune, which reveals too many unrealistic thoughts and fantastic plans that need some actual action put into them in order to change physical reality. It means you gotta do something. Saying, "I'm gonna" simply is not enough. That will not do it. It's not Good enough. You have to actually do something. This aspect has 'ambition', which means intention, planning and design (in the brain), but ambition often times does not materialize.

I see the word 'ambition' as a big ol' zero like I see the word 'potential', which is my least favorite word. Ambition is right up there with potential. My brain says, "Put up or shut up!" Just because you have desire (ambition) does not mean you will do or accomplish. Ambition + Potential = Zero, unless you get up and do something.

You might remember this story from October 2009. Many of you know from my past writings that the word 'potential' happens to be one of my least favorite words because all it means is you haven't done it yet. I was talking to a friend one day about her frustration with this man she was dating. I asked her why she was attracted to him. She said, "I don't know. I guess because he has potential." I said, "Really? Then why are you dating him?" In silent confusion she just looked at me with that wonderful question mark on her face. She was standing in the question.

I told her the difference between the type of man she is attracted to and the type of man that I am attracted to is that she is attracted to a man with 'potential' and I am attracted to a man with 'no potential'. While her man would be sitting, my man would be moving. While her man would be planning, my man would be gettin' it done. While her man would be intending, my man would be fulfilling. While her man would be settling, my man would be making it all happen. (winky wink)

You absolutely can overpower the quincunx and square with the trines if you are remain aware that they are present. You don't have to lose yourself, your temper, or your emotions so easily. Besides, if you 'lose it' so easily, then how strong, powerful and in control is that?
