The BIG NEWS today is Saturn in Capricorn turns Direct after having been Retrograde since April 17, 2018. That's nearly five (5) months of retracing our steps and going back to where we once were. If you move your eyeballs over to the far left navigation column, you will see a huge list of Astrology links. You should have already known this day was coming as you tracked Saturn Retrograde over your natal chart to see where this transit was impacting you. This will end the 1st of 3 Retrograde periods during Saturn in Capricorn. When it comes to business and government, many of you are going to feel like a restricted parking brake has been released.

Saturn is the planet of 'the father' or 'the authority figure' that tells us what to do. Saturn represents responsibility, boundaries and structure because we, as unruly human beings, need structure and discipline simply because its so dang hard for us to hold ourselves to such disciplined behavior. Heck, think of how hard it is to discipline yourself from carbs, chocolate, wine, your 'ex' or keeping your mouth shut. Saturn is not here to whip your ass because he feels like it. Saturn has a belt around him and will only take off that belt and whip your ass if you need it. Do you need it? Did you need it over these past five (5) months of Retrograde motion? Saturn provides a 'positive framework' within which we can build. Saturn gives us the kind of structure that limits our development for a reason, which forces us to reassess our liabilities and assets (pluses and minuses). The house that Saturn occupies in your Natal Chart is where these characteristics will manifest the most.

Saturn rules all of those in a position of authority such as CEO's, executives, entrepreneurs, fathers, authority figures, government officials, the government, police, those who 'chair' boards, bosses, managers, jailors (those who put people in jail), old people who have authority and wisdom and those who are in a high position in the public eye.

Saturn is a conversative and it is an authoritarian, which yes, has a lot to do with the political climate. This conservatism holds traditional values, it deliberately and consciously seeks the best at the lowest cost and will work super-hard for the best. Saturn in Capricorn is a super-hard-responsible worker. I have Saturn in Capricorn and a Moon in Capricorn in my natal chart and I think we all get a pretty Good sense of my work ethic. Saturn is in its strongest placement in the sign of Capricorn because Saturn naturally rules Capricorn, which seeks to operate at the top of its game and be the last man/woman standing at the top. Whatever Saturn in Capricorn does, it is full force and shoots straight to the top because it is ambitious and self-motivated.

So you see my dear little mentators, everyone will get their serious game face back on and start ascending the mountain again. Look to your Natal Chart to see where the sign of Capricorn is located and this is where you have been restricted or limited for a reason, which is to get your act together, straighten-up and fly right. While progress might be slow as freakin' molasses with Saturn in Capricorn, it is a slow ascension because it is bound and determined to reach the summit and WIN! Rising to the top is slow, but it is steady and successful. Come hell or high water, Saturn in Capricorn will be successful. Damn, I feel like I'm talking to myself (LOL) with my Saturn in Capricorn.

When you look at the Saturn in Capricorn Transiting Degree Calendar I put a picture of the Billy goat going up the side of a mountain. It's amazing how they can hold on for dear Life with their hoof on a tiny itty bitty piece of rock sticking out. What the Billy goat (Capricorn) forgets is that they can actually leap. Goats can leap, so going up the corporate ladder or side of a mountain, one rung or rock at a time is so unnecessary. LEAP BILLY GOAT LEAP! Saturn in Capricorn's utter determination will eventually pay off. Those of us who have Saturn in Capricorn in our natal charts, that pay off comes later in Life after we have worked our ass off. LOL.
