The first lunar aspect today, the Moon opposing Mars, is like a tug-of-war with our emotions because the aspect is an opposition with the planet of aggression, competition and war. An opposition doesn't have to be bad, it can actually be like the perfectly balanced see-saw on the playground and it only gets rough if one person gets off and slams the other person to the ground, then the see-saw is no longer balanced. It can also look like a game of tug-of-war on the playground as both sides pull as hard as they can. Imagine if you were in a game of tug-of-war with someone. What would happen if you just let go? That's right. You get my picture. Think about letting go of that tug-of-war because in a roundabout way, you would win because you would be the one still standing. (winky wink) See, it's not so bad to just let go. If you continue to hang on, then you are holding up your own Life and holding yourself back.

The second aspect today is the Moon squaring Venus, which means the Moon (emotions) are being poked and stoked by Venus, the planet that rules the 2nd house of earned income and personal money, and the 7th house of committed relationships, marriage and partnerships. This aspect is a square, which means this is a hard challenge, like an elbow in your side. Venus has everything to do with your self-worth because your self-worth is your base, and then everything else according to worth is piled on top of that, including relationships. Your relationships will reflect your self-worth. Think about it because it is quite an eye-opener when we see who we choose to reflect our own self-worth. This could be a painful awareness to many today.
