Today's Moon is in the sign of Leo, who is the leader of the zodiac. I want to be clear, Leo is 'not' the boss or the manager because that is Capricorn. Capricorn is the boss, the manager, the father, the military, the government and the authoritarian. Leo is the leader, which is a completely different type of energy, which often times gets channeled into bossy, demanding and domineering energy. Leo NATURALLY rules the 5th house of children, child-like behavior, the playground, joy, bliss, fun, creativity, procreation, playfulness, pleasurable activities, hobbies, romance, intimacy, dating and the energy that is the precursor to committment in relationships. So you see, God put Leo in charge of His playground and His children.

When Leo energy is mischanneled on the 'playground of Life' it can easily turn into the bully on the playground. Oh no no no, that is not how this energy is supposed to roll. When Leo energy demands that things be done its way, then it is controlling and intimidating, and that is 'not' Leo's purpose on the planet. Leo is a fixed sign, who does not like to be wrong, but Leo's Life is not about Leo. Leo's Life is about leading others, not bossing people around and telling them what to do. When Leo's Light shines, not only do they look Good, we all look Good. Now that's the mark of a True leader!

All Sun Signs have a ruling planet and Leo is ruled by the Sun, who is the 'Giver of Life'. This is exactly why Leo's NEVER want to entertain death. EVER! No one dodges the subject of death faster than a Leo since they are the 'Giver of Life' and have the ability to bring up our spirit from the depths of despair with their child-like ways. Since Leo is ruled by the Sun, this is what gives Leo their sunny disposition, silly approach and child-like ways. Leo always relates to children. Where in your personal Natal Chart or Solar Return does Leo show up?

Leo is the sign of the leader. Get it . . . follow the leader on God's playground. All Leo has to 'do' and then other's will follow their lead. This is why you must be strongly aware of what you do because others will follow your lead, especially in the area of your Natal Chart or Solar Return that is ruled by Leo. Bossing others around with your Leo energy will not work and will only set you up for a cat fight. Since Leo is ruled by the Sun, then this is what makes their ego entirely too big for words and what gets in the way of their leadership skills. IT'S NOT ABOUT LEO, IT'S ABOUT GOD'S CHILDREN! The Sun (Leo) is supposed to shine causing the rest of us to grow just like little flowers. Leo is supposed to shine with that smile and help the rest of us grow, not call all the attention to themselves. Leo is here for us, we are not here for them.

Leo is also the sign of intimate, relationships, romance and dating, and as you can see below, today there is a trine aspect between the Moon (emotions) and Venus (Love and self-worth). This Moon in Leo also makes a nice sextile to Mars causing us to be more aggressive in relationships and matters of the heart. By the way, the part of the body that Leo rules is the heart (and the back). Leo carries a lot of responsibility and a lot of Love, both of which carry a lot of weight. I know you know what I mean.
