Well this is the first Aquarian Moon we encounter since the South Node moved into Aquarius and the North Node moved into Leo. When the Moon conjuncts the South Node this creates bad timing where you might find yourself at the wrong time and wrong place, or a day late and a dollar short. Those of you who have your natal Moon in Aquarius or your Moon in Aquarius in this year's Solar Return then you will probably have to deal with this bad timing situation. You know what creates bad timing? A lack of cooperation from the world around you or from people around you. It's not their fault. Remember the South Node represents karma (past), while the North Node represents dharma (future). So when the Aquarian Moon rolls around you may find yourself paying off some karma and getting little help from the world around you (or people). I guess it would be safe to say, "Paybacks are hell." When cooperation is lacking then you will have to rely on yourself for the help you need (and God) but that's pretty much it. It is interesting that the sign of Aquarius rules friends, social media, social networking, groups, memberships, VIPs, mentors and helpful people. Since the South Node is in Aquarius then it pretty much means, "You will get by without any help from your friends" instead of getting by "with a little help from your friends". Sorry to be the bearer of bad timing news but if you "know" this then it will be easier to deal with it. Imagine not "knowing" this information and how you would feel. So make certain you don't blame your friends, groups or associations for not helping you out because this is karma coming back to you. When you didn't help, you will likely be reminded in some during the Aquarian Moon. And since the Moon rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, you may be answering this question, "How do you feel now?" This South Node / Moon conjunction until November 6, 2018 will make you feel pretty lonely everytime the Aquarian Moon hits. No friends are available. No one will show up. No one returns calls. No one RSVPs. This conjunction pretty much leaves one to their own vices and says, "Oh how do you like me now, FRIEND!" For the rest us experiencing the Moon / South Node conjunction over the next year and a half, we will likely feel this energy too (somewhat) but not like those who have an Aquarian Moon in their natal chart or Solar Return. This is just the way we humans learn and that is through experience, which happens to be the best teacher.

Since the Moon rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, this conjunction can also cause depression, melancholy and self-pity simply because the South Node is the bottomless pit, drain and hole in the chart. No matter how much energy you put into the South Node, the energy will just fall through like a roll in your pocket. The South Node represents karma (meaning the past), which means it would be wise for all of us to think about what we did in our past that is causing us to have to learn our stuff alone. Those of us experiencing this conjunction only as a transit will probably feel like this aloneness or melancholy only during the 2 to 2-1/2 days that the Aquarian Moon is present each month when it conjuncts the South Node. Those with an Aquarian Moon in their natal chart or Solar Return will likely have to fight off feeling left out and a lack of cooperation the whole time the South Node in Aquarius is present until November 6, 2018. Again, the more you are aware of the energy, the easier it will be to deal with it and handle the energy.

Do you know how I always say there is an 'escape hatch' offered to us everyday no matter what is going on in the cosmos? Well if you look at the two aspects offered to us today, one is a sextile and one is a trine. These are both very easy energies that we likie-likie, so use them. How wonderful that God gives us a way of escape like this on the first day we encounter the Aquarian Moon conjuncting the South Node in Aquarius. Cool huh?
