Today there are three (3) aspects to the Taurus Moon with a square to the Sun (dang it!), an opposition to Jupiter (rats!) and a sextile to Neptune (sweet!). All three (3) of these aspects occur later in the day as you can see from the listed aspects as the bottom of this page.

When the Moon squares the Sun, this creates mommy and daddy issues because the Moon rules the mother and the Sun rules the father (as does Saturn). These two planetary influences give us Life and animate our spirit with our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities (the Moon) and our identity, personality, ego and response to others (the Sun). As these two planets are presented as a square, they are not getting along and they feel uncomfortable. RATS! This is some intense emotional insecurity because no one is feeling the Love. And keep in mind folks, the lunar aspects have a 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence' before and after exactness, so you will be feeling this energy all day long since aspect is exact at 2:18 PM EDT.

Next up, just 3-1/2 hours later, we experience the Moon opposing Jupiter and messing with our livelihood and abundance. Hmmmmm, something might cost us our fun, time, optimism or money. This can look like over-indulgence with food, drink or finances. It can also be that you are handing money over to someone who can't handle it or someone who really doesn't need it (they are just playing you). YIKES! This aspect is the classic 'mama's girl or mama's boy.' All too often this aspect will bail out the lazy child, which results in a shear lack of motivation to achieve any goals because quite frankly, why? The child has no goals because they never had to have them. So there ya' go. So watch this tendency to be too easy or have some sort of guilty conscience because you want to be a friend to your child instead of a parent to your child. This energy need parental 'mommy Love' because Jupiter is the higher-octave of the Moon and these two planets are in opposition, a tug-of-war. This aspect needs you to put your foot down as a parent and not engage in tug-of-war with a CHILD.

The last aspect with the Moon sextile Neptune has very strong intuitive faculities. So folks, use your intuition! This aspect is truly present all day long even though it is exact in the evening hours. Remember, the 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence' before and after exactness. This is your 'escape hatch' for today while the first two aspects are giving everyone some angst. USE YOUR INTUITION! - your gut, your third eye, your instincts, your awareness, your whatever-you-want-to-call-it. JUST USE IT! Since the Moon is naturally ruled by Cancer and Neptune is naturally ruled by Pisces (two water signs), this can reveal itself as either an incredible amount of fear or an incredible amount of emotional sensitivity and empathy for others. When you know someone is 'emotionally insecure' and they are not feeling the Love, especially on a day like today, then do something that will send Love, rather than withhold Love. Rise above folks. Rise above it! The downside to this aspect is idolizing someone and confusing what is real for what is imagined.
