Who or what am I showing people that I am?
"When people show you who they are, believe them."
I am on my game and showing the best of me.
For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.
Father, my desire is to be a living example of joy, happiness and Love because they are a reflection of You. I know that when I reflect these qualities, then they will be mirrored back to me and as a result, the world will be a happier place with this type of mirroring going on. Father, help me to be more of what I should be and less of what I should not be. As a gentle reminder from the reading below, Jesus was ready to accept His mission and do what He must without hesitation or reservation. He was ready to glorify You! I too am ready to accept my mission and do what I must do in order to glorify You. I am ready with a grateful heart. I choose to live my Life joyfully rather than fearfully. Father, I know who I am. I am Your child. Help me to live every moment of my Life as a child that You would be proud to call Your own.
Through Jesus Christ's Precious Blood, Most Sacred Name and Most Holy Face. ~Amen
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke
18 Once when Jesus was praying in solitude, and the disciples were with Him, He asked them, "Who do the crowds say that I am?"
19 They said in reply, "John the Baptist;" others, "Elijah;" still others, "One of the ancient prophets has arisen."
20 Then He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter said in reply, "The Messiah of God."
21 He rebuked them and directed them not to tell this to anyone.
22 He said, "The Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised."
