Father, there are times when I do not produce as much as You purposed me to do. You are the vine and I am one of your branches. I know that I am capable of great things and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed that I feel unsure of what to do next or what to begin for that matter. Sometimes my path seems unclear and I feel confused as to the road I must travel that I just feel like throwing in the towel. Help me to see clearly through the overwhelming sense of confusion so that I will do things that are for my highest Good and that glorify Your Name. I have been watching and listening for signs from You, although through no fault other than my own sometimes my brain is so clouded that I cannot see it or hear it. Father, please come to me and assist me in such a way that I will surely see Your Influence and Guidance that cannot be mistaken for anything else. Give me the sight, understanding and belief of Joseph. I will do my best to purge from my Life all of the things that cloud my brain and that no longer serve me so that I have room to receive and embrace all that will work for me through Your Divine Mercy and Grace upon me. I trust You Father. I trust YOU! I trust that You already know what I need and desire and that You are already manifesting my prayers this very minute, stirring my Life and that around me with Your Divine Finger. Thank You in advance for being gentle, patient and understanding with me.
Through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Most Sacred Name and Most Holy Face, I thank You for this awareness. Amen~
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew
Matthew 10:1-7
1 And He called to Him His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity.
2 The names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zeb'edee, and John his brother;
3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Him.
5 These twelve Jesus sent out, charging them, "Go nowhere among the Gentiles, and enter no town of the Samaritans,
6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And preach as you go, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'"
