No one ever just wakes up and gets the flu. It doesn't happen that way. The virus invades the body, replicates itself and then you feel it. The minute you feel the prodrome (early symptom), THAT is when you go on the attack to get rid of it. Just be mindful that there are millions of people walking around ignoring their prodrome, swiping their nose with their index finger and then touching other things. Don't be one of 'those' people.

Turn on some music, any music that makes you feel 'groovy' and get your body groovin'. I do a lot of sitting because I'm always working on this website, so getting up periodically and really moving my body is a must to keep my heart circulating my blood. Dancing is one of my favorite forms of exercise and I do a lot of it when I need a quick pick me up. Plus, dancing makes me happy. I really do dance like no one is watching. Put your favorite groovin' song on repeat and do your thing (dance) for 20 minutes.

It is best that you change your sponge, dishcloth and dish towels every single day but some of you may have a limited supply. You can easily zap them in the microwave for 60 seconds to kill bacteria. Changing your sponge, dishcloth and dishtowels may be a bit tough to remember but if you change them the same day(s) every week then you can keep bacteria in the kitchen to a minimum. If you have a microwave, there is no Good reason why you can not zap them every single day at some point during the day. What's 60 seconds? You can even zap them anytime before you use them. ZAP!

Look over your cable and cell phone bill today. Most of the time, actually all of the time, they can be hard to understand. It's probably easier to call customer service and ask them to explain your bill to you. Often times cable/satellite companies will give you programming for free (like 6 months) without you realizing it and then charge you for it after 6 months telling you that they 'offered' you the service and you didn't tell them after 6 months that you no longer wanted it. Make the calls today!

Professionalism is starting to become a thing of the past. But before we start pointing fingers at others for not being professional at work, we need to look at ourselves and our own level of professionalism. The best way to do this is to keep your personal Life separate from your career/work. Make yourself more aware of where you need to draw the line in mixing business with pleasure or your personal Life with your career.

Stock your food preparation 'needs' today. This might be plastic wrap, aluminum foil, ZipLoc baggies, brown paper bags or even those stainless steel bowls with lids to keep that salad fresh that I wrote about a few days ago. Stainless steel bowls will actually help you save money because they keep food fresh for longer periods of time; therefore, you have less waste. Hit the dollar store for most of these needs. The stainless steel bowls you will need to invest in the Good kind.
