I have written many times through these daily messages how you must practice being you. We work tirelessly on getting to know someone else and then adjust ourselves to fit that person without even thinking that simply being ourselves is the answer to all our issues, problems, questions and dilemmas.

Yesterday, while chatting with a client about her Natal Chart she asked, "How do I put all of this together? How do I do all of these things in my Natal Chart?"

I told her that practicing to be her Natal Chart is just like driving a car. When you first learned how to drive you used a driver's manual that you had to read in order to learn the rules of the road. The Natal Chart is the same thing. If you can learn how to drive a car, then you learn how to be you. Driving a car has rules and laws that you have to follow. Not to mention there are physical things about the car that you have to pay attention to and may even sometimes ignore. You can talk and drive at the same time. You can think and drive at the same time. You can even drive and listen to the radio at the same time.

When you are learning how to use your Natal Chart, practice being one thing in your chart at a time. For instance, get to know your Moon placement because it rules your emotions. For myself, I Love my moon because it sobers my emotions. Actually, the Capricorn Moon is known for being cold and sobering. That is why I can coldly and flatly tell it like it is. This cold flatness may not work for everyone who has a Capricorn Moon, but it works for my chart because I am a very sensitive Cancer Rising. My Cancer Rising makes my personality very sensitive and emotional. I cry every day over something that I read, I cry every day when I go to daily Mass and I cry when I am happy or excited. I even cry when I get angry. I'm just a cry baby and easily moved by kindness. Kindness makes me cry. I have even gotten choked up talking to some of you during a reading when my sensitive feelings tap into something that I am intuiting for you. I have learned to Love my Capricorn Moon because it sobers me up very quickly when my emotions are on over-drive. I can stop crying in a split second and take care of business and just get on with it. Now if I was a Leo Rising instead of a Cancer Rising with that Capricorn Moon, I would have to make certain that I did not come across as bossy or a tyrant.

Find one thing in your chart and practice using it to your advantage. There will be some unflattering things in your chart that you will need to improve upon. When you read these things, do not just chuckle and say, "Yeah that's me." Deliberately improve upon those things and then use the positive side of it to your advantage. Practice being those house cusps first. There is a section called "The Houses" and you can practice being each house one at a time until you have yourself down cold! Now go practice being you.

One day I was talking with a man who was experiencing unrequited Love. I have to admit, unrequited Love feels like torment and I wish it for no one. It is right up there with the words agony, heartbreak, desperation and sorrow. Most people would choose to be poor before they chose unrequited Love. Being in Love and not being Loved in return can be all too consuming for words and it would be a fairly safe bet to say that at least 70 percent of us have experienced unrequited Love.

As I listened to this man pour his heart out, I could tell his lack of self-respect was dwindling by the minute as he continually put himself down. He had hope, which is actually a form of confidence that helped him hang in there, yet he had not an ounce of self-esteem.

I asked him, "Why do you keep talking that way about yourself?" He climbed right over my question as if I had said nothing and continued to knock himself around even more. This guy was on a roll.

I tried to interrupt and talk over him saying, "Wait! Wait! Why do you keep talking that way about yourself? Answer the question." But he kept on trashing himself.

Still, it was as if I had said nothing to him as he continued on without skipping a beat. That's when I thought, "I need to Capricorn Moon this guy and shut him down." My Capricorn Moon is what allows me to get by with statements that have no sugar coating. It is essentially delivering the one-two punch and calling it the way I see it. My intended target gets the 2 x 4 right up side the head, where they are still left standing only now they are fully conscious with more insight than they had a few seconds ago. It's really quite a nice delivery system that God gifted to me. There is little pain involved because the recovery time is fairly quick. I just have to pay attention to my DLG (Download from God) on the perfect words to deliver.

When he was in between breaths I said, "Hmmm, now that you mention it, I wouldn't be attracted to you either." Suddenly there was silence at the other end of the phone.

Then quietly he said, "Really?"

I responded, "Oh yeah, I mean seriously, how attractive is that? I heard everything you said and you are absolutely right! I believe you. It took me a few minutes but you finally sold me and you probably sold her too on how unattractive you are."

Again came silence and then he gently said, "Well, now wait a minute."

With a smile in my voice I said, "Since you are finished dumping and I just bought that load, then let's switch gears and talk about a career for you in sales."

Quickly he said, "That wasn't very attractive was it?"

I stepped back into my Capricorn Moon and said, "I can only imagine the kind of girl that you will attract thinking like that. Now if you want to talk about how to get the girl of your dreams then let's rock and roll, otherwise I really think you should think about a career in sales."

We had a Good chuckle at the lightning fast growth spurt he was now experiencing, then we went on to talk about the Universal Law of Reciprocity. Meaning, whatever is present will exist on both sides. It's all an algebraic equation. Whatever you do to one side of the equation, you have to do to the other side. I reciprocated back to him. The girl reciprocated back to him. In order to enjoy a more wonderful experience with the Universal Law of Reciprocity, he was going to have to change his attractive state. You get back what you give. What you reflect is reflected back to you. Give and it shall be given to you. Judge not and you will not be judged. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It's all the Universal Law of Reciprocity.

Folks, nothing will tie up your happiness, Love and abundance faster than doubt, fear and uncertainty. Next time you go to a restaurant, watch a small child place their order. There is a lot of indecision going on, not to mention frustrated customers just waiting for this small child to make up their mind.

When my daughter Karmen was old enough to speak plainly, I would always instruct her to place her own order. I always told her if she could not make up her mind, then I would have to make it up for her. And she knew I would do it. We would go over what was on the menu and then she would look at the server and place her order. I told Karmen if she wanted something out of Life, she had to know what she wanted and then she had to 'place her order.'

Now take this to an expanded level. If you cannot make up your mind, then you will delay and stagnate your own happiness and abundance. There is nothing like doubt, worry or fear that keep your happiness at bay until you are ready to move beyond that point. Think about what doubt gets you. It certainly doesn't get you forward motion. Worry breeds more of the same, which leaves no room for figuring out a solution. And fear is just plain silly because it is being afraid of something that has not even happened.

If you cannot make up your mind, then what is the Universe/God suppose to do with your prayer request. If you are praying for one thing and then acting another way, then that is shear confusion because you are sending mixed signals out into the ethers. Make up your mind! I'm telling you once again, God is a Yes Man! But if you are not prepared, if you cannot make up your mind, if you are sending mixed signals, then you are the one delaying the answered prayer. It is not God trying to stop you from being all you can be. It's you!

Take responsibility for your indecision and start making decisions. Before you know it, another year has gone by and you are still entertaining the same desire. aaarrrggghhh . . I don't know how you do it, but knock it off! And it is certainly not like I don't do the same thing; once I get the DLG (Download from God) that I'm doing that (delaying my stuff) then I stop and make a decision, just like that! Heck, if I wasn't so familiar with delay and stagnation, then I couldn't relate to you.

The bottom line is if you are allowing doubt, worry and fear into your brain, then you are not allowing God into your brain. And if you are not allowing God into your brain, then who and what type of energy do you think rules doubt, worry and fear because it sure isn't God, it's the other guy. Now that is a scarey thought. Let me tell you something else, there most certainly is a negative force out there that seeks to take you off track and keep you from being who God created you to be. I dare you . . I double dare you to break free of that negative force that rules worry, doubt and fear, and live according to that burning desire that God created and placed in your heart. Now Go! Be God's child and make up your mind.

Okay, everyone get out your Natal Chart and locate your second house of MONEY! The picture below shows exactly where your second house is located and it says possessions. I have included the picture below in your Natal Chart, so just lay it over your chart wheel and you will easily see which house is your 2nd house. This second house rules possessions, MONEY that you earn in your own right, morals and values. Basically, this house is anything that you value.

I have had many questions from people wondering what I mean by "money that you earn in your own right." This means money that you earn yourself. This house will show how capable you are making money yourself. This has nothing to do with your spouse's money, inheritances, stocks, bonds or insurance. All of those things are OPM (Other People's Money), which I wrote about in a previous Daily Message. See the difference? That's all eighth house stuff. The picture below shows says "death and regeneration" and yes the eighth house rules that too. The eighth house also rules sex, but we will leave that topic for another Daily Message down the road. YOWZA!

Now if I have written a Natal Chart for you, then I have included in your Natal Chart a section called "The Houses." It will tell you what sign rules each house cusp.

EXAMPLE - MY CHART My Natal Chart under "The Houses" begins with:

LEO 2ND HOUSE CUSP
LEO MOTTO - "I WILL, THEREFORE, I AM"
This is your motto for this particular house.
Since Leo is on your Second House cusp, you would take on the nature, characteristics and tendencies of Leo in this particular house.
[And then there is additional information that I write for you.]

When it comes to my Natal Chart and making money in my own right, I have the strength, determination and characteristics of a Leo, a 12th grader, ruling this particular house. And that is exactly who I act like with regard to the second house, a Leo, which is why I have always been an entrepreneur. Leo's are leaders and I lead my financial self. I cannot tell you how important it is to embrace who you were born to be under these house cusps.

If you have Cancer on your 2nd house cusp, then you will see in your Natal Chart that Cancer rules home and family. This means you could make money at home "in your own right." You could work from home and be successful. You could make money in the areas of home and family. I wonder if the person who started Home Depot is a Cancer. Cancer's are gardeners and cooks. They are nurses and caretakers. This is all in your Natal Chart that I wrote for you.

The majority of the time (probably 70 percent) that I have ever done a reading with someone who has Taurus on their second house cusp, they are coin collectors. During one reading I kept pushing this one girl on counting money or coins. I told her that she needed to physically touch money and it had to be in her hand. My intuition was all over her touching money. I just couldn't stop talking about it. Then she fessed up a bit embarrassed that she had a coin reselling business and then let it go because of a relationship. Dang, that 7th house of relationships can really mess with us, can't it? She really Loved coin reselling and was quite successful at it, so I urged her to get back into the business because she would be a MAJOR success at it. Now this does not mean that everyone who has Taurus on their second house cusp would need to be in the business of coin reselling . . but it does mean that they enjoy collecting and creating money because Taurus naturally rules the second house of money.

Remember how I wrote to you that my astrologer taught me to watch for patterns and 70 percent of the time it will look a certain way? I wrote a Natal Chart and did a reading for a man who is the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of a major international Company who has Taurus on his second house cusp. CFO's are the check-writers. There it is again, second house Taurus fingers touching that money. He also stacks laundry baskets of coins in his closet. No kidding! I know he is laughing reading this right now. We had a 10 minute belly laugh over it on the phone.

Now get this . . here's the Good part. The Taurus motto says, "I HAVE THEREFORE I AM." Oh yeah, the Taurus' second graders are still saying "mine" even as an adult. Isn't that cute? They still have to clutch their stuff. So whichever house cusp you have Taurus in your Natal Chart, you have this motto and this energy, which translates into MINE!

Folks, when you were born, that Natal Chart is your time stamp of what you should be doing with your Life. It is all there along with your free will. You certainly do not have to do anything with it. In fact, you can take the positive or negative influence of these houses and the planets within them however you choose. That's free will for 'ya. God created you at that particular time, Who also created your Natal Chart and now you "get to" live it out and play it out. How fun is that?!?! God is way too cool. Even more, He gives us this map to help us find our way Home.

Seriously folks, I had THE MOST awesome astrologer in the world! I Loved that man so much and I miss him dearly. Wah! Mr. Thomas Seers (a Leo and a 12th grader), may God rest his soul, taught me incredible insights and knowledge into the signs that I can now pass on to you. Mr. Seers was adamant about the 70/30 Rule, the Astrological Grade Levels and the Astrological Credit Cards.

Mr. Seers was firm and deliberate about recognizing patterns. That's where the 70/30 rule comes into play. He said, "Only God is 100 percent and we humans are just not that Good. We're humans!" He said the closest we could even come to claiming Goodness was 70 percent. Now we can say wonderful affirmations all day long, but perfection is God. We as humans have to continually work at it. Even writing Natal Charts as long as he did, he would still claim only 70 percent accuracy. He was definitely a humble Leo. Having said that, we can focus on 70 percent being absolutely wonderful and the other 30 percent accepting challenges that will build our fine character. There will always be 30 percent of something that needs tweeking. Including relationships, money, career, etc. If you are in a relationship or career that is 30/70, then obviously something needs to change so the flip-side is 70/30. And there is always room for improvement.

He also taught me about the 12 signs of the zodiac as being the 12 astrological grade levels. The older signs are Leo (12th grade), Virgo (11th grade), Cancer (10th grade), Aquarius (9th grade), Pisces (8th grade) and Capricorn (7th grade).

The more youthful signs are - Scorpio (6th grade), Sagittarius (5th grade), Libra (4th grade), Taurus (3rd grade), Gemini (2nd grade) and Aries (1st grade). As you can see, they do not run in chronological order. Hmmmmm...what's up with that? That takes much more explaining through course work.

The younger signs are Taurus (3rd grade), Gemini (2nd grade) and Aries (1st grade) and get

Now let's take Leo. THE OLDEST SIGN of the zodiac. Leo's are here as volunteers. They did not have to come back. They volunteered! They are like angels walking around the planet and we can see them. It's crazy! My daughter Karmen is a Leo and I have always called her my serious child. Her soul knows already this astrological fact.

Now the kicker with the Rising Sign. You can really tell how old you are by looking at the age of your Rising Sign. I'm a second grade Gemini and a Cancer Rising, which means I have a 10th grade Rising Sign. Since our Rising Sign is our personality, this means that I have the personality of a 10th grader. Our Rising Sign describes how we see the world and how the world sees us. People naturally see me as a grown up because my personality is old! But I'm still a 2nd grader who acts older. I just seem like an old soul when I'm actually a very young soul. My next Life will be as a Gemini, Virgo Rising . . then Gemini, Leo Rising. Then I will be off to jump into Taurus, the 3rd grader. And I will begin that sign as Taurus, Aries Rising until I return as a Taurus and run through all the Rising Signs in order. We will go through each sun sign, twelve times. Yep! You guessed it. 144 lives. There is something very Biblical about that number. Math is something else!

I have met one person who I have written a Natal Chart for who was Leo/Leo Rising. I broke down into tears when I met her. I knew I was in the presence of a real Life human angel. I tear up just thinking about her. I have also written Natal Charts for two very famous actors who were Leo/Leo Rising who I never met as we have only had consults over the phone. Their identities I must to keep to myself.

Please keep in mind that some souls choose not to return. I do not have to come back as a Gemini, Virgo Rising. Up until the moment I am born next time, I can just stay checked out and with God if I want to because God gives us all, including the Angels, free will. That is how much he Loves us. We get to choose. Always!

Since I am a Gemini with '4 soul credit cards' this does not mean that I can overspend. I honestly believe that I may be on my 4th credit card. I have taken a lot of risks and my soul is crying out to me to get my act together. Next Friday, on June 2nd I will be 45 years old. YIPPEE! I LOVE MY BIRTHDAY! I have never been more together in my Life and longed to be more grown-up. I innately know that I have spent a lot through stupid stupid mistakes, bad decisions and even sometimes those bad decisions were deliberate. I have to make up for this and reach out and teach others. It was fun and exciting at the time, but now at age 45, I have to get it together and clean it all up. I can no longer over-spend because I do know better. I do!

Don't do it folks. Do not deliberately over-spend. Resist the temptation and think before you act and react. Believe me, your soul knows how much you have left on those 'soul credit cards'. You know! Get your act together. When you go Home to God, you want to show Him that you spent your credit cards wisely, that you have some credit still left on them and that you have something to show for your spending through character refinement along your experiential journey.

I will finally be updating the horoscopes this morning. I had to take care of these other areas first and clear my path to freely write horoscopes.

NEW INSIGHT REPORT! - I have added a new Insight Report to the astrology chart options page. An Insight Report should be used to give you insight into the person of interest. This Insight Report is not meant to be used so that you can change yourself in order to match someone else, but to see how you can co-exist together as two separate individuals. If the report says that this person needs a lot of attention, then you need to ask yourself if you are capable of giving that person the kind of attention they need. If you cannot, then I don't have to tell you the kind of problems this could generate.

As many of you have found out during personal readings, I DO NOT reveal 'personal' information about other people during a reading. If I am reading you, then I stick to reading you. I can give you "insight" but not personal information. There is a big difference between the two. Reading other people for you is just plain bad karma, which you and I would have to repay for probing into someone else's personal Life without their permission. To me, that is like going through someone's personal belongings.

There are a few exceptions to this rule and that is for people who are married or living together and children who are not yet emancipated from their parent. Once a child is emancipated, I can no longer give personal information to the parent unless the emancipated child gives me permission. In the Land of Astrology, married or living together are "unions" that mean "the two are one." Living together is the same as being married in astrology. There was a time when I would not even release a Natal Chart to a spouse until I heard on one of my tapes from my astrologer, the late Mr. Thomas Seers, that these were the exceptions.

During a reading, I will tell you the status of the relationship, what you can do to improve it, and what will be the likelihood of continuation (remember free will always has a role in astrology). But one thing I will not reveal is the person's skeletons unless there is a "union" as stated above. Skeletons are easily revealed in Natal Charts. Instead I will make strong suggestions where you will get a clear picture without me stepping out of bounds.

For example, let's say that I have a client who continually has their personal money drained by other people, I would make suggestions to that person on how to plug the drain. If that same client asks me about their Love interest who is not a "union" as stated above, who is draining their money, then I would make VERY strong suggestions and overtones that they NOT share their money without revealing that the person gambled away their elderly parents life savings or sold their last partner's stock without permission. Oh yes, it all shows up in the Natal Chart.

Another Example: Years ago while I was in a former relationship that was not a "union" as stated above, and during my first reading with my astrologer, he looked at me very seriously and told me never to let my boyfriend meet any of my girlfriends. Tears swelled up in my eyes and I had this huge lump in my throat. I new exactly what he was talking about. He could not tell me more about him because we were not a "union" as stated above, but I knew what he meant. I looked at him and then hung my head and said, "It's too late."

When I read and write these Natal Charts, I can see everything, and I mean everything! Everyone is entitled to privacy. When a Basic or Expansive Natal Chart is ordered, naturally I cannot tell if you have received permission from the person in question to order their Natal Chart. The bottom line will always be that I cannot give "a personal reading" for you on someone else unless there is a "union" stated above or they give their permission. Incidentally, I do couple's readings, which can be incredibly fun and enlightening. Both people are on the phone and it can be hilariously insightful.

I have always said that I have the best kid in the world. Even though Karmen typically chooses the oddest hours of the day to call, I will always answer the phone as if I have been awake for hours. This morning we had the best conversation about self-control, self-discipline and self-correcting. Karmen and I were chatting about when the awareness hits, that you realize everyone, and I mean everyone, is on their spiritual progression path growing and learning at their own pace. It is one of those cool free will things.

I raised my daughter to be a "self-corrector." A self-corrector is the best description that I can give of my Leo cubbie, Karmen. I always taught her that if she did not self-correct, then I would have to do it for her. That is what happens when we refuse to correct ourselves, then someone has to step up and take over. If you cannot exhibit some self-control, then someone will have to control you so that you do not harm yourself or others in your wake. If you do not discipline yourself, then someone will have to step up and do that for you too.

Here on the planet, we have plenty of people placed in the position of authority or a position of teaching to correct us, discipline us and control us when we need to be checked. As experience would have it, some people will just keep doing the same thing over and over again until they are physically stopped. Some people will end up in jail, some people will be fired and some people will get audited. Still others will abuse their body with food, drugs or alcohol only to develop a disease or ill condition.

When I was still seeing patients in a clinical setting, I would ask my patients, "How did you get this way?" It doesn't matter if they walked in with bad knees, a sore back, a headache, overweight, a swollen elbow, a goiter, constipation, etc., I asked them all the same question. "How did you get this way?" And believe me, I pressed that question until that person took responsibility and we traced it back to its root.

I was always very direct with my patients and told them that if they expected me to always be at the other end of the phone on their bad days or be willing to come in when the office was closed, that they had to take responsibility and help me, help them. I use to have a holistic pharmacy in my clinic and I would also tell my patients that I do not supplement bad lifestyles and bad habits with herbs, homeopathy and vitamins. If they changed their lifestyle, then I would recommend the supplements. Otherwise, the supplements will sit in a cabinet expired. Let's not kid ourselves.

The majority of the time - the aches, pains, illnesses, conditions, diseases and syndromes that we suffer from are self-inflicted. We humans are perfectionists when it comes to self-inflicted wounds. We have self-infliction down cold!!! Then there are the emotional wounds that we agree to sit in until our spirit is nearly dead, then maybe, just maybe we might change our circumstances. Folks, you have to "agree" to be miserable. You have to "agree" to be unhappy. You have to "agree" to be financially crippled. You have to "agree" to be overweight. I cannot stress how important it is for you to self-correct.

My style in helping people has not changed. Whether we are in a health history consult, an intuitive reading, a natal chart reading or if I am guiding you through the TYS e-Course, I call it as I see it.

If you are ready for action and change, then I'm your gal. If you are ready to rock, then let's rock your world. Keep those e-mails coming that tell me how the pieces are falling into place. I Love reading them. Remember, this website is a puzzle, it may have my name at the top, but this website is really about you. And it is up to you, to put the pieces together. Have fun with it. 'Siyo or Osiyo [Hello in Cherokee]

Recently I was in a conversation with a group of friends about "patience." It was a discussion over what messes with our level of patience and how we respond to the world around us. Which translates in to, our patience with other people.

After listening for a few minutes I said, "Since God is a Yes Man, I found when I prayed for patience, then I was given circumstances that would make me more patient. I mean, after all, I prayed for it. And THAT does not feel Good to me, nor does it make sense that I would purposefully want challenging circumstances just to make me more patient. So one day I just decided that I AM a patient person. Now, "I AM patient" is my affirmation.

Folks, when you are praying, make certain that you are clear on what you are asking. Remember, God is a Yes Man, and He is our Father; therefore, He will give you what you need in order for you to get to the place that you need to be. If you STILL need to learn how to manage your finances, and you are praying for more money, well then guess what big spender, you will get more circumstances to teach you how to manage what you have before He will give you more. The answer is of course, "yes," but maybe you need more practice.

I can just see God saying, "Yes my child! It's great that you want more and I'm happy to give it to you. Let's see you handle this circumstance so that I know that you can handle what you are asking of Me."

Wouldn't you want to know that your child could handle what they are asking from you before you give it to them? If your child wants to drive, isn't the answer, "yes." Of course it is yes, but it also comes with, "When you are old enough to drive" . . . "When you pass the drivers test" . . . "When you get car insurance" . . . "When you act mature enough" . . . "When I know you are responsible."

So how responsible are you? How disciplined are you? How patient are you?

Yep! Just like the Ultimate Dad that He is, always teaching us a lesson for our spiritual progression path. It's all Good! Just claim that you are a great money manager and then follow-through with that affirmation! Show God that you can and will handle what you are asking of Him.

It is said, "Be careful what you pray for." Hmmmmm . . . such a fearful statement. I prefer to say, "Be clear on what you pray for because God is a Yes Man."

For anyone who knows a Gemini or who is a Gemini, then you know that we are like Curious George (2nd graders) and we can easily get ourselves into trouble without adult supervision. Further we can easily end up taking gadgets apart while forgetting that we have to put them back together again. Our brains are like cogwheels and when a Gemini thinks, you can actually see the cogwheels churning. When a Gemini gets quiet, then you know they are thinking. That's why our motto is, "I think therefore I AM." Notice the similarities of the two pictures? Oh incidentally, I have another website address that will point to this one. It is called, www.mentator.com. Being that I call myself a mentator (mental, thinker), I decided to scarf up the domain name. Still wondering if this word has made the dictionary yet.

Needless to say, I curious'd with my computer so much yesterday that I created a few issues for myself. While giggling on the phone while on hold with tech support over the issues, the man sitting next to me on his computer said, "You sure don't seem too concerned. This is pretty serious." As with any Life situation I said, "Are you kidding me? Can you imagine how much I will know once I get through this!?!? It's all Good!" I think he thought I was whacked!

I remember when I got my first computer; going two weeks without looking into the inside was enough to drive me crazy. Everytime I looked at that computer I was being teased beyond my cogwheel imagination. There I was at the two week mark and I couldn't take it anymore. I had every itzy bitzy screw laying on the table and the entire computer was in pieces. I was in Gadget Guru Heaven and I had my 'fix.' Now I had to 'fix' it.

We Gemini's are the Inspector Gadgets and Gadget Guru's of the zodiac. Heck, I carry my laptop, Blackberry, iPod, another cell phone and wear a pedometer 24/7. Yep, I'm one of those people. I doubt I will ever need a bluetooth attached to my head. I do draw the line somewhere.

And as for you? . . . Whichever house your Gemini sits is where you are a Gemini. Welcome to my world folks! If you have Gemini in the 10th house, then this is where you are a Gemini. If you have Gemini in the 5th house, then this is where you are a Gemini. If you are a Gemini Rising (1st house), then your personality is Gemini. That is the way the house cusps work. Whichever Sun sign sits on a certain house cusp, then you are like that sign in that particular house. For instance, my Capricorn sits on my 7th house cusp. So when it comes to relationships, I am just like a Capricorn. I will be the first one to suggest a pre-nuptial agreement. Oh you betcha! What's yours is yours and what's mine is mine. We Capricorn people in relationships want a contract when it comes to relationships, partnerships and business. If you have Cancer on your 7th house cusp, then my suggestion of a pre-nuptial agreement would put your emotional 7th house Cancer into tears and sadness. In business, I have always had 'employee agreements' with my employees and 'independent contractor agreements' with my independent contractors.

The best way to start learning about your Natal Chart is to read those house cusps and then look at how you are just like that Sun Sign in that house. Then embrace it. Embrace who you are. When you try to change who you were born to be is when the foul ups take place. OUCHY OUCH OUCH! In other words, for Goodness sake, just be yourself.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoy hearing from those who I have worked with through personal consults, readings and the TYS e-Course. The follow-ups are enough to make me do the "Happy Dance!" The 'happy dance' is this goof-ball dance maneuver I do when I'm happy.

The following e-mail is from a client who I had a phone consult with on May 4th, 2006 - exactly two weeks ago. She gave me permission to use the e-mail and her name in this Daily Message. I find her willingness and determination to act on what she learned during the consult inspiring. Therefore, I'm hoping her e-mail will inspire you. During a reading, I can point out every gift you have but you still have to do something with it. I cannot do it for you. Not everyone will choose to take action after a consult, even when their gifts are pointed out in black and white, and then they wonder why things are not working out. You have to take action.

The set up to this e-mail is this: Nanouu (which is her nickname) booked a consult to have a Natal Chart reading. During a typical Natal Chart reading I will go through each house one by one and then point out the obvious strong points and gifts, then we will put it all together. Nanouu had some incredibly strong home and family strengths that I picked up on right away, which were also reflected in her chart. She could easily make money at home. I felt the need to dwell on it, push it and bring up the subject of real estate. There was no need to push too hard because her spirit had already been considering the subject. She had this secret little dream and my intuition was drooling all over it.

I tossed out ideas on how she could use the T-Square in her Natal Chart and use "other people's money" to make real estate a reality. That was key! OPM (other people's money)! I told her several places she should check in order to use "other people's money." And she should use the North Node Scorpio in her Natal Chart to help her do the research. Scorpio is the researcher and investigator of the zodiac. If anyone could find "other people's money" to use to their advantage, it would be Nanouu! The placements were PERFECT! And Saturn? . . . Saturn usually scares the pants off everyone because it means you have to be responsible. I told Nanouu how she could use her Saturn placement to make "other people's money" work for her. If these gifts are not used, then typically problems arise with money because the person is going about getting money in all the wrong ways. Make sense?

Hello Dr. Standley,

I just wanted to follow up on our talk. I took your advice and applied for a mortgage. I went and met with a broker and during our meeting he said something that gave me chills. He said, "Do you know what OPM means?" A million miles away I said, "No." He looked right at me and said, "You need to use other peoples money to buy that house!"

I almost dropped to the floor. Wow! Later that week I was approved for $425,000 and that's not it; my job of nine years just started this program for first time buyers, a gift of $3,000 dollars and the state will give a forgiveable loan up to $17,000 and on top of that and loan up to $15,000 if the house needs repairs. That is $35,000 dollars of aid and I don't have to pay a penny back! I am amazed this just dropped in my lap (from God). I did go to the library and took out some books on real estate and about starting a company at home, a lot of interesting things I'm learning. THANK you for making everything so clear. It is nothing but fate that I found you. Don't get me wrong, I still have a whole lot more to work on (didn't really start yet), but at least I'm working on them.

Dr. Standley, you are truly a gift from God. Thank you for everything. I will keep you posted on everything. Talk about an abundance of blessings. :)

GIRL YOU ROCK!!! I'm tickled out of my mind for you and that you started moving on this gift in your chart. The opportunities and gifts have to be acted upon otherwise they just sit there. And you acted upon them. Now THAT's what I'm talk' 'bout.

And that is how you apply a T-Square! Remember, the apex of your T-Square points to the 2nd house of "your money". Therefore, the opposite of the 2nd house is the 8th house of "other people's money." OPM (Other People's Money) - YES!

The rules are easy. All we have to do is take action. Actually, I wish I could say that I was surprised, but this is a prime example of working your Natal Chart and how it is supposed to be.

Can I use your e-mail in the daily message tomorrow? I promise I will keep your e-mail address and name private (unless of course you say that I can use your name). Osda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

In 1985, after working for the railroad for five years and turning down a job transfer to Norfolk, Virginia, I decided to start my first business. I saw this transfer as a DPO (Divine Perfect Opportunity) for me to do what I really wanted and that was to be a 'stay at home' mom. The minute I became a mother, that was all I wanted and being a Cancer Rising (ruler of the home and family), working outside of my home was nothing short of painful. Even though I was 24, the mother of a four-year-old and 'newly single', it never crossed my mind for a second that I would not be able to make this happen.

As the Company was preparing their move, I was preparing my move; to stay-at-home with my daughter. I started reading Entrepreneur Magazine and even called the Company and ordered back issues. I was looking for ideas to start a business. I was going to be a stay-at-home mom and failure to do that was simply not an option. Being a single parent, money was certainly a motivating force. One day while thumbing through the magazine at work I noticed an idea about the balloon business and the huge profit margin. In fact, it was so huge that I couldn't really believe it. I started calling around different companies and asking probing questions. What if I ordered this and what if I ordered that?

To make a long story short, I opened a children's entertainment company. I even went to clown school believe it or not. Yep! I was a professional clown. I know, I know. I still look back and wonder if I really did that. I began as a single employee appearing at children's birthday parties and company picnics. I made balloon animals, face painted, and did magic shows. Everything was going gangbusters but I was still leaving the home and I was still unhappy. Home meant home and not outside of the home.

I remember praying one day about wanting to be at home with my daughter, when I heard through one of my DLGs (Downloads from God) that I needed to put an ad in the paper. Business was already booming with all the referrals, so the DLG did not make sense to me, but I did it anyway. I heard what I heard. I designed the ad and submitted a full color picture of me in my clown gear with all the services that I offered. It was a great ad!

The day the ad appeared in the paper, I started receiving some unexpected phone calls. Entertainers such as; ventriloquists, mimes, magicians, stilt-walkers, caricature artists and others clown's (no pun intended) were calling me and requesting an audition. Not to mention all of the new business the ad had stimulated. There was no way I could handle all of that business alone. I looked at my ad again wondering what I had done to make others think I was more than a one-woman-show. They wanted to audition for ME?!?

There was only one explanation for this outcome and that was my prayer was obviously being answered. Within two weeks I ended up auditioning and hiring 16 independent contractors and had enough business to keep all of them busy and me at home. I never had to do another party. Now I was their agent and took a percentage off the top. Not to mention I was working 'at home.' I had prayed to be a successful businesswoman so that I could stay-at-home with my daughter Karmen and I received better than what I asked. It just showed up different than I thought it would.

I always say, "God is a Yes Man!" When we 'believe' our prayers are being answered, then we can expect them to be equal to or better than what we expected. That is Faith in a nutshell. God doesn't say, "No" . . . We do! . . . We say, "no" due to our lack of faith, fear, doubt, worry and anxiety. I never did believe the statement that 'sometimes God says no.' I just do not believe that. That goes completely against scripture. I could have easily argued with the DLG and said "no." I could have easily not trusted or acknowledged the desire in my heart. I could have easily taken the transfer to Norfolk. I could have easily ended up working my tail off alone, working outside the home and possibly blaming God for not answering me. But He did answer me and I heard the DLG. There was no coulda, woulda, shoulda here. I heard Him! I believe that job transfer showed up in order to get me to the place that I needed to be, which was at home with my daughter, Karmen.

Faith and prayer gets you equal to or better than what you asked. And gratitude? There is a lot of mileage in gratitude. How many times have you prayed for something only to thank God later that you did not get that, but yet you received something better. There it is again . . equal to or better than.

Jesus said, "Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." - Mark 11:24

How much more clear a statement do you need? Pray, Ask, Believe, Receive, Give Thanks! It is all about Faith and Belief.
