Beginning Saturday, September 2, 2017 continuing through the end of the 2017 could not be a better time to get your physical health, lifestyle, daily habits and level of fitness into optimum functioning order. It doesn't matter if the day already began because your challenge begins the minute you decide. It's a choice folks. Each day is made up of a series of choices and even if the day has already begun, you still get to make a choice from hour to hour how you will use that time, and you certainly do not need to wait until the New Moon rolls into Virgo on September 20, 2017. THE TIME IS NOW! And if you are reading this page after Saturday, September 2, 2017 the time is still now.
We begin this 'Picture of Health Challenge' when the Sun is in Virgo, which happens to be the sign that rules physical health, daily routine, work ethic, scheduling, organization, habits, fitness, nutrition and daily lifestyle. Virgo energy is very routine and routine is what makes up habits, which in turn impacts our physical health.
Saturday, September 2, 2017 Mars trines Uranus which gives us the motivating force necessary to make a sudden change in our life. This is a decision folks! That's all it is. The sign of Virgo is 'the picture of health', which requires you to 'take action' in your physical world, physical space and physical body. It's not enough to 'intend' to do something, you have to apply yourself. You actually have to do the 'the work'. After all, Virgo rules work and work ethic. Virgo is the Sun Sign that requires the lab class. It's not even to go to class, there is an additional lab class that requires you to apply the information that you learned in class. So consider your new daily routine and the changes you make to be the 'lab class'.
Virgo is the sign that is concerned with perfection and mastery. So Virgo will often keep taking workshops and classes seeking mastery. Virgo energy will also read more self-help books than any other sign, but remember Virgo has to take the lab class, which requires you to apply the information. As a North Node Virgo (myself) this is my destiny (destination) so I have to be the 'picture of health' myself in order to teach you. Virgo rules doctors, healthcare, fitness, nutrition, lifestyle, diet, exercise and daily routine. Who better than teach you than me, using Astrology.
On Tuesday, September 5, 2017 Mars will move into Virgo. Mars is a very aggressive, impulsive and competitive planet. Mars enjoys a challenge and wants to be challenged. So wrapping your brain around the 'motivating force' and letting it become your carrot, you also use this upcoming Mars in Virgo energy to make it all happen. The Sun in Virgo is where you will shine and succeed during this time. It could not be a better time.
Since Virgo rules physical health, let's say you want to lose weight during all of this wonderful Virgo energy. Since Virgo is the sign of the analyst, here are some specifics for you. In order to lose one pound of fat in one week, you need to cut out 3,500 calories. So it will take a 3,500 calorie deficit to lose one pound of fat. 500 calories a day x 7 days = 3,500 calories, which will equal 1 lb. If you want to lose 2 lbs. in one week, then burn off another 500 calories a day in exercise. Again, 500 calories in exercise x 7 days = 3,500 calories. That 7,000 calorie loss will be 2 lbs. per week. BAM! It's diet and exercise folks, it always has been and always will be. Start now and before Thanksgiving (at this writing on Friday, September 1, 2017) you will have lost 24 lbs. by Thanksgiving (if that's what you need). Then you can enjoy Thanksgiving Day and do it again the day after and BAM, just before Christmas you could lose another 10 lbs., (if that's what you need) and all before the New Year. I would start NOW! if I were you.
I will be back tomorrow to give you more guidance, but for now, this is what you need to know today. GO! Make choices hour by hour. Just because the day began does not mean that you blew it. You only blow it if you do nothing.
At the end of the year we are all going to post pictures here on my website. Take pictures of yourself today with dated material (like a newspaper). If you cannot take a picture today (Saturday, September 2, 2017) then take a picture as soon as you with dated material.
If you saw my before and after pictures on my Daily Habitual Ritual page from my recent 34 lb. weight loss, this is what I'm talking about. From this 'Picture of Health Challenge' you are can and will achieve drastic results. I am still on my path to optimum functional health and mobility. I'm still looking for even more of a drastic change by the end of the 2017. Let's do this together. I'll be back tomorrow with more information.
