Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is a real term used in healthcare that refers to daily basic self-care activities in an individual's residence, outdoor environment or both. The ability or inability that an individual performs their ADLs is a measure of the functional status of the individual, particularly the injured, those with disabilities and the elderly. Very young children require assistance from adults to perform ADLs since they have not yet developed the skills necessary to perform ADLs on their own.
Basic ADLs (bADLs) are the things we normally do such as bathing, dressing, feeding ourselves, functional mobility, personal hygiene and grooming. Instrumental ADLs (iADLs) are things such as housework, money management, preparing meals, shopping and work.

It does not matter if you are male or female, you MUST moisturize your skin. It is no different than watering a plant or adding water to a roast. A moisturizer for the face and/or body is a perfect stocking stuffer. Believe it or not, once a man uses a facial moisturizer he will rarely ever stop. We get it, but doing it is a whole other thing. Moisturize and drink water. And as I always say, "You can't flush a toilet without water and neither can your body."

Muscles are meant to go through a 'contract and relax' motion and joints are meant to bend back and forth. So you see, at the very least, walking will help tremendously as your arms and legs move back and forth contracting, relaxing and bending. In addition, your calf muscles operate as your second heart, pushing blood back up to the heart. If you do nothing else, at least WALK!
