Changing your bed linen is usually personal preference but the recommended washing is on a weekly basis. If someone in the home has been sick then it's a Good idea not to share the bed with that person until they have recovered and the sheets are fresh and clean.

Remember jumping-jacks? 150 lb. person can burn about 90 calories in 10 minutes doing jumping-jacks. Not only are jumping-jacks a form of cardio work, it is also a stretching exercise that stretches your arms, legs and core. It's a fabulous way to quickly zap some calories.

A 'no shoes policy' in the home will make for much cleaner floors. Place a tray of nice looking rocks near the door. You can buy a bag of rocks at your favorite hardware store. Then place your shoes on the tray of rocks. This will help catch ice, snow, mud, etc., that drain off the shoes.

Use the 'buddy system' when making bulk purchases. Wholesale clubs are making a killing on people buying in bulk (on impulse) when you only need 1, 2 or a few. Buddy-up with a friend to split the cost on bulk items so you do not have to buy so much and store so much when you do not have the space.

Either you are dedicated to what interests you or you are not. It's that simple. If you Love it, whatever it is, you cannot be stopped. That's the way I feel about this website, I wouldn't know how not to get up and type everyday. In 22 years I have updated this website from a campsite, a beach, an airplane, a public restroom, a rest area, the car, a hospital bed, as well as coffee shops and restaurants. Every single day, I do it, pretty much no matter what. If you Love it, you will be dedicated, committed and loyal to do it too, no matter what.

To keep your potatoes sprout free, store them in a cool, dry, dark place. Some ideal storing options include the pantry, your closet, the basement, a root cellar, a cardboard box, or a brown paper bag. Keep them out of the sunLight as that will make them turn green and sprout. If they sprout you may as well plant them in a 'grow bag' and grow some potatoes in your basement. Potatoes will keep for months if you follow these storing options. I store potatoes and as of this date (December 2022) we are eating potatoes from August 2022. No kidding!
