Who or what is my Source?
"The calm mind allows one to connect with the inner self, the soul, the very source of our being. That's where the music lives. That's where my music comes from."
~Clarence Clemons
I think affirmatively. And with all my prayers, I accept abundance. Whatever I need, whenever I need it, wherever I need it, for as long as I need it, will always be at hand.
For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.
Prayer below ~by Emmett Fox
Today, I accept God's gift of abundance.
Today everything that I AM and have, that is Good,
is increased.
I identify everything I do with success.
I think affirmatively.
And with all my prayers, I accept abundance.
Whatever I need, whenever I need it,
wherever I need it, for as long as I need it,
will always be at hand.
I no longer see negation
or delay
or stagnation
in my undertakings.
Rather, I claim that the action of the Living Spirit
prospers everything I do,
increases every Good I possess
and brings success to me and everyone I meet.
Everything I think about and do
is animated by the Divine Presence,
sustained by the Infinite Power,
and multiplied by the Divine Goodness.
Through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Most Sacred Name and Most Holy Face, I thank You for this awareness. Amen~
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke
Matthew 14:13-21
13 When Jesus heard of it, He withdrew in a boat to a deserted place by Himself. The crowds heard of this and followed Him on foot from their towns.
14 When He disembarked and saw the vast crowd, His heart was moved with pity for them, and He cured their sick.
15 When it was evening, the disciples approached Him and said, "This is a deserted place and it is already late; dismiss the crowds so that they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves."
16 (Jesus) said to them, "There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves."
17 But they said to Him, "Five loaves and two fish are all we have here."
18 Then He said, "Bring them here to Me,"
19 and He ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He said the blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds.
20 They all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up the fragments left over --twelve wicker baskets full.
21 Those who ate were about five thousand men, not counting women and children.
