Boneset is known to be one of the most popular herbs used for combating influenza. And during the last century, Boneset was one of the most common home remedies. As an Native American (Cherokee), we have used Boneset to reduce fevers and relieve body pain during the flu or used during the common cold. Its true name is "break-bone fever" because of the pain that the flu caused to the bones and Boneset has been known to help relieve the symptoms. Boneset is also a mild tonic and contains Vitamin C and PABA, and the minerals calcium, magnesium and potassium.
Boneset helps with influenza, indigestion with the aged, colds and body aches and pain.
