PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO LIVE ALONE

We are never really alone and even though we know this, and that God is always with us, somehow loneliness and fear can creep in. Of course, some people live alone and others desire to one day live with someone they Love. I believe when you Love being alone with yourself, then someone else will also Love being alone with you.
Before beginning any Prayer, first read it over and absorb what you will be saying. Then gather your thoughts and choose the specific words that you will be using to ask for your special request or intention, when appropriate.
For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.

I live alone, dear Lord,
stay by my side,
in all my daily needs
be Thou my Guide.

Grant me Good health,
for that indeed, I pray,
to carry on my work
from day to day.

Keep pure my mind,
my thoughts, my every deed,
let me be kind and giving,
in my neighbor's need.

Spare me from difficulty
or anything that could slow my progress,
and help me to recognize all that is Good in my Life.

When I feel low or in despair,
lift my heart and I'll know You are there.

Teach me to Love myself,
so that I can share that Love with someone else.

I live alone Dear Lord
and I have no fear
because I know
You are always near.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray,
who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit

forever and ever.
