Here's another one of my favorite prayers. This prayer is an excellent reminder that as long as I AM here, then my work is not finished. It helps me to continually become more conscious of what I have done and what I have failed to do.
Before beginning any Prayer, first read it over and absorb what you will be saying. Then gather your thoughts and choose the specific words that you will be using to ask for your special request or intention, when appropriate.
For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.

HEALING PRAYER

Lord Jesus,
through the Power of the Holy Spirit,
go back into my memory as I sleep.

Every hurt that has ever been done to me,
heal that hurt.

Every hurt that I have ever caused a person,
heal that hurt.

All the relationships that have been damaged
in my whole life that I may not be aware of,
heal those relationships.

But, O Lord, if there is anything that I need to do,
If I need to go to a person
because he or she is still suffering from my hand,
bring to my awareness that person,
I choose to forgive, and I ask to be forgiven.
Remove whatever bitterness may be in my heart, Lord,
and fill the empty spaces with your Love.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray,
who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit
One God
forever and ever.

Amen~
