DESCRIPTION: Valine is vital to a muscles function. Valine provides glucose to working or active muscles to make certain those muscle's fibers do not break down. If a muscle that is working does not have available glucose to fuel its activity, the muscle will begin to break down or digest itself to provide the needed nutrients to fuel activity. It's like the muscle cannabalizes itself.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Valine is a stimulant, so it may help with energy levels and promote tissue repair. Valine is also important to improve insomnia and nervousness. It also gives the immune system a boost. Most importantly, valine helps the body recover from long, strenuous activity. Valine is an essential amino acid and is used in combination with leucine and isoleucine. They should be supplemented in combination with each other.
