YOUR ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!

When we heal ourselves, it requires that we remove the conditions from our bodies that cause our discomfort or illness. This is the complete opposite of what we find with traditional health care which masks the signs and symptoms of illness with medications. During this practice, we find that the factors which cause our illness are not restricted only to physical problems. They can also be directly related to the mental and emotional aspects of life. Our emotions, thoughts and feelings are propulsive, dynamic forces that influence every aspect of our lives. These powerful forces are a major factor in either the health or illness of our body and mind. How many times have you heard that our thoughts and feelings about ourselves is exactly what we become? Whether we realize it or not, our unconscious and conscious attitudes, our belief systems and our thoughts, emotions and feelings can powerfully affect the cells, tissues and organs of our physical bodies, as well as the conditions we experience in the world around us.

When we change the way we think, we change our life experience.

When we change our attitudes toward others, their attitudes toward us change. The condition or health of our bodies, as well as the quality of our life experiences, is a valuable aid for mirroring our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual state of health. If we are not happy with how life seems to be treating us, we simply need to change the way we treat life.

If your thoughts are your choice, why not choose something positive.

Positive, healthy attitudes and emotions allow the vital life-force to circulate freely throughout the body and mind system. This generates high vitality, enhances regenerative processes, and creates a more positive life experience. Negative emotions and attitudes hinder the flow of the life-force, which lowers our immunity and vitality and makes the body more susceptible to injury, pain, and disease.

Pain is a good motivator.

Pain is a good motivator in seeking treatment for any injury or illness. Pain, injury or illness is also an indication or warning sign beyond the physical that we are out of harmony with life and that we may have an existing attitudinal issue in need of recognition and attention.

The indicators:

The area of the body or a body part affected can serve as an indicator as to the nature of the particular issue. Each organ system or body part has a particular area in the body that the pain loves to run and take shelter. For example, the ankles represent the capacity to support oneself. This is our stability, balance and our connection to the earth. In other words, being grounded is represented in this area of the body. Problems in this area may indicate one's unwillingness to be flexible, or there may be a lack of support in this person's life. This may also be associated with knee difficulties or pain.

Pain is a coward:

Always remember, pain is a coward. It is the last thing to show up and the first thing to go away. Unresolved anger, resentment, fear, guilt and lack of forgiveness are the sources of most illnesses, and must be released. These conditions are highly poisonous to the human system.

Acknowledge the problem:

The first and most important step in healing is to become aware of and then acknowledge the existing problem. Once we recognize and release the attitudes that inhibit our expression of love and forgiveness, we can then remove the underlying cause of our condition. This is something no doctor can visualize, palpate or treat unless we recognize and acknowledge the problem. In this way, symptoms will fade away and we can begin to establish permanent healing.

The power of love & forgiveness:

There are no medicines, herbs, ointments or potions that can compare to the power of love and forgiveness for healing the body, emotions, mind and soul. Love and forgiveness must be present before true healing can occur. Consciously choosing love and forgiveness, allows us to free ourselves of the blockages commonly referred to as pain and illness. Forgiveness has the ability to open the door for love to enter. When we choose to forgive ourselves of our past or for not being able to forgive sooner, we naturally let go our guilt. We can then be free to love ourselves and live life to the fullest. When we find it in our heart to forgive another person, (which I understand can be extremely difficult) we will naturally let go of resentment and anger. We are then free to love that person more fully, and will experience greater tunefulness in all of our relationships. This is the basic formula necessary to heal ourselves on an individual level and for healing our world on a global level.
