The Moon in Leo is moving through your 12th house of the hidden realm, subconscious, past, pain, karma, jails, institutions, hospitals, finances of friends, secret sorrows, fears, self-destruction, large animals, skeletons in closet, self-undoing and self-injury. It is about your hidden strengths, weaknesses and what you don't want others to see or know about you, unredeemed karma and selfless service to humanity. This Leo lunar influence has grown in strength, which is now giving you more power, stamina and courage than you have had in quite some time. You may also feel so strong and powerful than you have no problem marking your territory or defending it. It is important to note that Leo's (cats, felines) are very territorial creatures. When a cat rubs up against you, they are literally marking their territory. And if a cat likes you, then you are their territory too. We all know a Leo Sun Sign and we all have Leo energy somewhere in our chart. So keep that at the forefront of your brain while you read on. Cats are literally covered in scent glands. They have scent glands on each side of their head, on their lips (yeah lips), chin, along their tail including the base, near their sex organs and between their front paws. They use these scent glands to 'scent mark' their territory. When the cat rubs up against you, the cat is marking you with their scent, claiming you as their own. The cat is also picking up your scent, which might also explain why some cats do not like certain people due to their scent. A cat can ignore you, but you cannot ignore the cat. Just the same as the Leo person in your Life, they can ignore you but you cannot ignore them. They cannot take it and they will not have it. This is the same way with you in the area of your chart that is ruled by Leo. If I wrote your chart, this is why it is so important for you to read the section of your chart called, "The Houses" so you will know how and when you act and react in a certain way. It will be just like the Sun Sign that rules that house. A cat will rub up against furniture or doorways for the exact same reason in order to mark the item as their own. It's not your house, it's the cat's house. When your feline friend sprays their urine, they are literally marking their territory and showing you whose house you are in. And don't you forget it. Well, you won't because the smell is so bad.

This can cause you to get into trouble once again, doing that thing you do. This is the house of mental health, which means this is the time of the month for you to withdrawal and go inside of your own head. This is a period of reflection and meditation for you. Your body, your mind and your spirit are your temple. This is your first personal territory before anything else is. Defend it with deliberate purpose and guard it with a clear conscience. If you cannot protect your territory -- your own body, mind and spirit, how can you protect anything else that is yours?
