The Moon in Taurus is moving through your 6th house of daily life, health, hygiene, food, work ethic, employees, service, skills, servants, clothing and sickness. It is about the service you give to others and your daily habits, routine, the working environment, pets, animals and service.

My intention on Monday the 6th was to get the Weekly's written but sometimes it doesn't always work out as I intend because I do take care of my clients and their needs 'first' before I take time to write anything in my spare time. Horoscopes are written in my spare time. I also had a jam-packed scheduled day yesterday (the 7th) in my personal life. Needless to say, when I ran out of minutes on Monday, there was no way I could get to the Weekly Horoscopes yesterday. Lucky for me, I don't sweat what is out of my control and it has to be okay the way it played out. Today . . I just continue on.

It's VERY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND and drill into your head the motto of Taurus, "I have therefore I am" and the meaning of self-worth and confidence. The reason why I say "drill into your head" because Taurus is a fixed sign and it is no secret that Taurus can be extremely hard-headed. This is actually because a cow/bull's skull actually is very thick (I've read it is several inches thick). Taurus simply will not budge from its position. That can be a very fine quality 'to have' but it is also the same thing that causes Taurus to take so long to accomplish anything. JUST GOOOOOOOOO! Taurus is also a very slow walker, just plodding along from here, over to there at a solid and steady pace. The only time we ever really see a cow or a bull run is during a stampede when they are poked, prodded or startled into action. Why in the world would anyone wait until they were poked or prodded into anger or wait until they were frightened enough in order to make a move?

Taurus naturally rules the 2nd house. All too often the 2nd house is only seen as the house of money. Yeah, it's a money house but it is SO MUCH MORE than that. "I have therefore I am." There is a foundation (a base) that "I have" is formed upon. Taurus rules self-worth, which dicates your morals and values. Your morals and values DRIVES what you say you are worth in all forms. Worth, worthy, self-worth. Also, keep in mind that the word 'settle' is very important here because when you settle and do not move, then that is where you remain. When all of your decisions are based and then built upon your morals and values, then this determines what you are willing to settle for in all areas of your Life from the salary that you shoot for and then settle for to relationships and Love. Everything is built upon this foundation. Even the people you associate with or the career that you choose for yourself. You will either have a job that you go to or a career that you are fulfilled by.

It is also important to note that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd house are the First Quadrant of the chart. The First Quadrant refers to the development of your identity, your self-concern and your self-development. The first three houses are all about the self. The 2nd Quadrant (3rd, 4th and 5th houses) brings into your Life the need for inner security and relationships with others. But before you can develop these characteristics, there has to be a base and that base my little mentators is your self-worth. Some of you will walk into a convenience store and purchase a bag of chips, 32 ounce fountain soda and cigarettes and others will walk in and purchase a banana, a bottle of water and a lottery ticket. Your self-worth dictates how and what you will say your body is worth putting into it.

Your self-worth determines what type of relationship you will settle for because Taurus is naturally ruled by the planet Venus, which is the planet of Love and beauty. Taurus is musically inclined who has a beautiful melodic voice and often plays an instrument. Taurus Loves music because they are the melodious cow! Taurus wants romance and beauty in their lives and many Taurus' will not settle for less. Taurus typically does not settle for plastic and lacquer. Instead, they will settle once they have granite and marble, otherwise they will simply go without. Taurus should never wear hand-me-down clothes unless it is very well made and probably has a designer tag on it. Taurus is the masticator of the zodiac and rules the taste buds; therefore, only the best meals will do. My 10 year old grandson is a Taurus and won't even settle for McDonalds or any fast food. He just won't do it. He would rather go to a restaurant and sit down where their is chef and will ALWAYS order the most expensive item on the menu. It's just the way he is. Taurus enjoys 'very rich' food. Recognize the self-worth in 'very rich'. Therefore, rich desserts go over well for Taurus who would rather have Cherrie's Jubilee instead of a sundae with a cherry on top or something like Banana's Foster instead of a banana split. My grandson's favorite meal is sushi. Only the best will do.

There's no doubt, Taurus is a materialistic sign, which is second in materialism to Capricorn. Cancer and Leo running a very tight tied third place. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you are standing in integrity with a clear mind. Myself, I have a very materialistic chart and I would rather spend no money than waste it on something that won't last or isn't what I want. I'll just go without or starve. (winky wink) I'm a Capricorn Moon with some kickin' Leo energy (royalty of the zodiac) so I'm pretty darn clear.

Last month during the New Moon in Aries you were taking back your power and getting back your identity. Now the New Moon is in this 2nd house (of the 1st Quadrant) and now you need to re-examine your morals and values and then build a new foundation. IS THIS COOL OR WHAT?

Bottom line -- it's time for you to say, "I determine who, what, when, where, why and how much!"
