The Moon in Virgo is moving through your 12th house of the hidden realm, subconscious, past, pain, karma, jails, institutions, hospitals, finances of friends, secret sorrows, fears, self-destruction, large animals, skeletons in closet, self-undoing and self-injury. It is about your hidden strengths, weaknesses and what you don't want others to see or know about you, unredeemed karma and selfless service to humanity. Refrain from letting this house frighten you because it is necessary that you look at your own self-undoing in order to keep yourself on the straight path.

Since today's Virgo Moon is about details, then I'm going to write one big motivational blast full of details that I hope will bring you a brighter awareness and increased optimism. I'm a Polly Anna of sorts where I'm always able to see the positive before the negative. The alternative approach is just too hard. (winky wink) There are so many things that I want to touch base on that I don't know where to start.

I will start with the news of the day, which is the Fiscal Cliff agreement between Republicans and Democrats here in the U.S. This may sound a bit pessimistic and skeptical but it just has to be said. First of all it's important to remember that Gemini rules the United States. The United States has always been divided by the Mississippi River. There is the East and the West, the Republicans and the Democrats, the have's and the have not's, the rich and the poor, the North and the South, the Yankees and the Confederates. Certainly all countries have North, South, East and West but when you look at the U.S.A. it is a split country, right down the middle marked by the Mississippi River. Astrologically speaking, I think it is a crazy notion to think for one minute that the Republican's and Democrats are going to come up with a solution to the give and take behavior that this country enjoys so much. There will always be takers and there will always be givers.

Now throw in the awareness that Jupiter is in Gemini until June 25, 2013. Remember, Gemini rules the United States. Jupiter in Gemini is also in its detriment, which means it is like a fiesty child throwing a temper tantrum in the grocery store. Basically, it acts out inappropriately at the wrong time and wrong place. Jupiter is lucky, expansive and abundant, although when placed in the sign of Gemini (unless handled appropriately) this is like giving a winning lottery ticket of millions of dollars to a 2nd grader. The majority of people in this country are always going to handle money inappropriately. Knowing this should give you the motivation to handle yourself appropriately when it comes to money so that you are not part of the problem but rather your own solution. And those who have issues with money are best tag-teaming (coupling up) with someone else who knows how to handle money. There is always someone who handles the checkbook. Too bad the Republican's and Democrat's can't use the same approach while one party spends and the other says, "That's enough, no more." It doesn't matter which party is the spender or saver, it is about working together like you would in any workable relationship.

Remember the 'Yod' (pronounced like nod) that I wrote to you about on Thursday, December 27, 2012 where I mentioned the 'mutual reception' between Saturn and Pluto. While the Yod is no longer exactly present, the orbital energy of that Yod still is. In other words, the quincunx lines that I wrote about on the 27th pointing to Jupiter are no longer present but we can still feel the affects. Also, the 'mutual reception' between Saturn and Pluto is going to be strongly present throughout 2013. Oh for Pete's sake this is great energy folks! Write it down on your bathroom mirror because in a couple of weeks, you may forget all about it and this energy will last all year. In fact, Saturn and Pluto, which have essentially traded places with one another are going to be high-fiving, bumpin' and grindin' and rubbing elbows for a couple of years because they will be in each other's orb of influence. Remember, Pluto naturally rules Scorpio but it is now in Capricorn and Saturn naturally rules Capricorn but it is now in Scorpio. It's like two buddies wearing each other's clothes and having fun with it. It's two buddies joining the gym together. It's two buddies going into the military together. This is the perfect example of the buddy system where they are working together. "I got your back bro!"

Now listen, you need to remember this 'mutual reception' and play this card folks, not to mention the Jupiter in Gemini influence that will take place until June 25, 2013. I will likely revisit this sextile between Saturn and Pluto to remind you throughout the year but those of you who really put the pedal to metal (keeping this in mind) will receive the reward. In fact, the reward is already in the works for so many people who have been in full throttle self-management.

I was watching 'The Today Show' this morning where Matt Lauer was interviewing a small panel about the state of the economy and the Fiscal Cliff. The panel consisted of billionaire investor Warren Buffet, life strategist Tony Robbins, San Antonia mayor Julian Castro and Spanx founder Sara Blakely to talk about the year ahead for the U.S. economy. While I do not have confidence in Congress' ability to really solve the debt crisis . . . I will say that I have confidence in myself. You see what I really Loved about the round table discussion with Warren, Tony, Julian and Sara was their optimism and confidence because of the opportunity and timing that it offers for offering new products and services. I absolutely agree that while times may be hard, those who do believe in themselves and get their own finances and ambitions managed well, the timing could not be more perfect. Sara Blakely start Spanx around the time of 9/11.

Jupiter in Gemini is very very very optimistic and that is the key piece here that will blind some individuals to failure or loss. In other words, Jupiter in Gemini is happily bouncing along doing its own thing regardless of what is going on around them. Note in the video where Sara Blakely said, "As an entrepreneur, I'm not uncertain about myself and my team and I spent so little time focused on the economy . . . " I was sitting in my chair yelling, "Yeah, yeah!" It reminds me of some of the phone calls I get when people believe they are cursed by someone else or they are constantly and I mean CONSTANTLY fighting the negative force around them. I simply say, "If you put that energy on something more positive or focused more on God instead of His counterpart, you would have a better Life. You are choosing what you are focused on and what you focus on EXPANDS!" And Tony Robbins even following up with you have to be certain about yourself. I have always felt that way about myself. I have so much belief in myself that failure really is not an option. That is just an unfathomable thought for me. I can't relate to it.

Folks, all I'm saying is that if you are sitting around waiting for Congress to decide your future, then you really may be in trouble, especially since they essentially kicked the can down the road to March 2013. Are you surprised? The 'mutual reception' between Saturn and Pluto wants to pay you off in dividends but if you continue to mis-manage your Life, then it does not happen for you. The sextile between Pluto and Saturn gives us all the opportunity to transform or regenerate ourselves through our own discipline and hard work. I'll admit, this is not the website to come to if you want a five sentence horoscope that tells you how wonderful you are.

Oh my, we are also still 'under the influence' of the Sun/Pluto conjunction that I wrote about on Friday, December 28, 2012. Self-management, self-discipline and self-motivation is the key here. This is not just about money, ambition and goals. It is about full-blown transformation of the self. What are you doing that isn't working for you? What are you not managing well? Is it your finances, weight, attitude, your style of communication, your relationship? There is a lot going on right now and the key to your success will be self-management and self-confidence. Be certain about yourself! Now go smack one out of the dang ballpark!
