The Cancer Moon is moving through your 2nd house of value systems, physical possessions and money, personal self esteem and talents. This house also rules your personal earnings, bankers, budgets, money that "you" make, material resources, value system, monetary gains and losses, security. Basically this house is about your self-worth.

Today, tomorrow and Friday the Moon is in the sign of Cancer. The Moon naturally rules the sign of Cancer, which is why this sign is so emotional, moody and defensive. And it's amazing how fast a Cancer can move backward. My mom is a Cancer and she uses one of those Jazzy motorized chairs. We call it her 'bike'. Even when she is just sitting there, going nowhere, she will have her hand on that joystick and click herself backward, forward and then side to side. It's the funniest damn thing I've seen and when I call her on it, we just bust a gut laughing at it. Then she tells me to shut up and reaches out to pinch me and we laugh some more because of the pinching. My mom is well versed in astrology too. Since I have a lot to write about today (next several paragraphs) I wanted to give this Cancer tidbit to chew on first because we all know a Cancer in our Life and we all have Cancer in our own personal natal chart. Folks, it is important to understand where in your chart these energies show up for you because they are there. Saturn has turned Retrograde! Those of you who have been coming to this website for quite some time already know that I do not interpret Retrograde planets as being a bad thing. Your reaction to Retrograde planets may be fearful, freaked out, dramatic and chaotic but that is not their purpose. It doesn't even make sense that it would be their purpose. So what would be your purpose in acting and reacting that way? Relax folks, Retrograde planets are do-overs and give you a wonderful opportunity to retrace your steps and do something over, do it better or schmooze (smooth) it over before you progress forward in Life. See that's why I dig on Astrology so much, it helps me make some sort of sense out of God and the dance of the various energies He created to help us along our path. It's not like we don't get a second chance or a third chance at something because we do! When we blow it (the chance) we wonder why did that happen and WHY ME! If you choose to do irresponsible things, then that's what happens. Retrace your steps, what did YOU do? You can choose to be irresponsible but the Universe will not allow it to continue, nor will the Universe forget about it. Remember, the Universe is a big Algebraic equation and it has to balance itself out. In Algebra, whatever you do on one side of the equation, you have to do on the other side of the equation. Even if you look at your natal chart, all opposite house cusps are in their opposite sign. And all opposite house cusps are in the same degree. They have to be in order to balance out the wheel. Everything always has a balance to it. So you see, if you choose to be irresponsible, then the Universe has to balance out that energy to make it right. That's usually where a punishment, correction or penalty comes into play. RATS! Sooner or later you will pay for that irresponsibility. You see folks, Saturn is the planet of responsibility and WILL hold you to it. You have nothing to fear or hide from if you are taking responsibility. Right?

Saturn is not only the planet of responsibility, it is the planet of maturity, stability and longevity. Saturn absolutely requires a grown up and mature stance, especially in the area of your natal chart where Saturn sits. Saturn will spank your ass and it will hurt! As the father energy of the zodiac, this really bothers Saturn because Saturn really wants to say, "See that one there, that's my kid!" Saturn wants to be a proud braggadocious father. Saturn wants to reward you and give you the keys to the car and will pay your car insurance and your tuition through school when you are a Good kid. Saturn wants to give you a promotion. Saturn wants you to give you a raise. But if you cannot be responsibile, then you can forget the Divine Intervention from Saturn. You will pay your own tuition and you will ride a bike until you can straighten up and fly right. Saturn is the planet of limitation and knows when enough is enough. Saturn knows whether or not you can handle what you ask for and if you can't, well then Daddy giveth and Daddy taketh away. Simple as that! All Saturn really wants you to do is take responsibility and get back on your path. Enough with the bumpy ride through the ditch. Honestly folks, simple as that. Think about it. If your child came to you contrite and full of renewed responsibility, maturity and self-limitation, wouldn't you act and react differently toward that child? Wouldn't you give that child another chance? Of course you would! Children really do make us proud and when our children do well, we don't hold back telling everyone we know how wonderful that child is. Now think about Saturn, if you are doing right and making Saturn a proud Papa, then Saturn will do your bidding for you. Saturn will be your 'word of mouth'. Saturn will be your press agent and put your name on the door. Saturn will have your name out there on a its bumper sticker saying, "My kid is __________." Saturn will be out there bragging about your every move. This reminds me of some people when they are suddenly discovered or when a windfall occurs. Oh it can happen! It can even happen during Saturn Retrograde where you get to start over in that 2nd chance do-over in a better place. Oh it's so dang cool when you play the card right. So folks, be not afraid. Saturn, the proud Papa does not want his children to be afraid of him. That's ridiculous. Saturn just wants what is best for you. Really! But Saturn won't do it for you.
