| LYMPHATIC ASSIST BATH HOMEMADE BATH SALT RECIPES |
The intent of this bath is to assist and stimulate the lymphatic system to drain properly. Lymph is one of your body's filtering systems, (like the the kidneys) or like an oil filter or air filter in your car or even a coffee filter in your coffee pot. Once the lymph has been filtered through the lymph nodes it re-enters the bloodstream.
While in the bath tub, intermittently bend your joints back and forth. Start with your elbows bending slowly back and forth a couple times. Then slowly bend your wrists back and forth a couple of times. Then slowly slide your feet along the bottom of the tub so that your knees bend back and forth a couple of times. And lastly, slowly bend your ankles back and forth. Rest a while and then start the process all over again. You may even slightly push on your abdomen around the navel area during the cycle to stimulate the "cisterna chyli," which is the area where the lymphatic system drains.
Bathe 40 minutes. For the full meditation of the issue at hand, take 1 bath a day for 40 days or 1 bath a week for 40 weeks.
