My first reaction is to lean on Spirit.

Daily Prayer for the Spiritual Progression Path

For a more enriching experience,
go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further
and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.

Father, I have Faith in You and Your Divine Guidance and I have no idea why sometimes I choose to act or react in such worrisome and sensational ways. My first reaction should be to immediately turn to You, but as You and I both know, I don't always do it. I know You are with me Father and I now consciously choose to embrace a higher state of awareness that includes You at every turn of my Life. I am listening Father. I am listening for You to tell me the next step to take. Father, I ask You to increase my Faith, discipline and resolve so that when I encounter worrisome circumstances, my spirit is calmed and assured. I am certain that You have my best interests under Your Divine Control, Influence, Power and Love. I am knocking. I am seeking. I am asking you to help me.

Through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Most Sacred Name and Most Holy Face, I thank You for this awareness. Amen~
