DAILY PRAYER For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying. Father, often times my compassion and/or understanding for others is less than optimal, not to mention it is severely unattractive. I don't know who I think I am that my judgment of others is right, just or even makes any sense when I'm sitting in the middle of my own drama and bad decisions. People are where they are, when they are, according to what they need to learn along their Spiritual Progression Path ™ . Their path is between them and You, and certainly doesn't need my judgment interferring with the energy flow between them and You. When I think about my thoughts and actions, I should be embarrassed knowing that I am doing this right in front of You. It's not like I have been on the straight, narrow and angelic path my entire Life. It's not like I have been standing in all proud and respectful moments my entire Life. Who am I to prop myself up above others? After all, you and I both know that I have done and said some fairly crazy and outrageous things trying to figure myself out. It's been a battle of wills; my will wrestling with Your will. How could I possibly judge another person when You know their heart and intentions? Father, from now on my contribution to another person's Life through advice, example, leadership or thought will have my soul's purpose of leading them back to You, so that they can hear You guiding them first and foremost and then secondarily following up with those of us who have something Good to add to them and not take away. Gently help me Father, to be the kind of person You created me to be. Thank You so much for this kind and calming awareness today. Through Jesus Christ's Precious Blood and Most Holy Face I ask You to release me from this judgmental behavior. Amen~

You lock the kingdom of heaven before human beings. You do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow entrance to those trying to enter. 14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You devour the houses of widows and, as a pretext, recite lengthy prayers. Because of this, you will receive a very severe condemnation. 15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You traverse sea and land to make one convert, and when that happens you make him a child of Gehenna (hell) twice as much as yourselves. 16 Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'If one swears by the temple, it means nothing, but if one swears by the gold of the temple, one is obligated.' 17 Blind fools, which is greater, the gold, or the temple that made the gold sacred? 18 And you say, 'If one swears by the altar, it means nothing, but if one swears by the gift on the altar, one is obligated.' 19 You blind ones, which is greater, the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? 20 One who swears by the altar swears by it and all that is upon it; 21 one who swears by the temple swears by it and by him who dwells in it; 22 one who swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by him who is seated on it."
