DAILY PRAYER For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying. Father, I have been experiencing an extremely stressful time in my Life. I find myself in a melodramatic and over-exaggerated display of emotions. Sometimes I say too much and others times I do not say enough. I do have Faith in You and Your Divine Guidance and I have no idea why I choose to continue to react in such a sensational reactive manner. I suppose it is because I feel afraid, alone and I don't know what to do. I know You are with me Father and I consciously choose to embrace a higher state of awareness that includes You. I AM listening Father. I AM listening for You to tell me the next step to take. Father, I ask you to increase my Faith, discipline and resolve so that when I encounter difficult circumstances, my spirit is calmed. I AM certain that You have my best interests under Your Divine Control, Influence, Power and Love. I am knocking. I am seeking. I am asking you to help me. Through Jesus Christ's Precious Blood and Most Holy Face I ask you to release me from this stressful situation. Amen~
DAILY SCRIPTURE A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew Matthew 23:13-22 13 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You lock the kingdom of heaven before human beings. You do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow entrance to those trying to enter. 14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You devour the houses of widows and, as a pretext, recite lengthy prayers. Because of this, you will receive a very severe condemnation. 15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You traverse sea and land to make one convert, and when that happens you make him a child of Gehenna twice as much as yourselves. 16 Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'If one swears by the temple, it means nothing, but if one swears by the gold of the temple, one is obligated.' 17 Blind fools, which is greater, the gold, or the temple that made the gold sacred? 18 And you say, 'If one swears by the altar, it means nothing, but if one swears by the gift on the altar, one is obligated.' 19 You blind ones, which is greater, the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? 20 One who swears by the altar swears by it and all that is upon it; 21 one who swears by the temple swears by it and by him who dwells in it; 22 one who swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by him who is seated on it."
