DAILY PRAYER For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying. Father, You are the vine and I AM the branches. Lately I have not been producing as much in my Life as I desire and as much as you would desire me to produce. I know that I AM capable of great things and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed that I feel unsure of what to do next or what to begin for that matter. Sometimes my path seems so uncertain and I feel confused as to the road I must travel that I just feel like throwing in the towel. My Dear Heavenly Father, help me to see clearly through the overwhelming sense of confusion so that I will do things that are for my highet Good and that glorify your Name. I've been watching and listening for signs from You, although I feel that my brain is so clouded that I cannot see it or hear it. Father, please come to me and assist me in such a way that I will surely see Your Influence and Guidance. I will do my best to purge from my Life all of the things that I know are no longer working for me so that I have room to receive and embrace all that will work for me through your Divine Mercy and Grace upon me. I trust You Father. I trust that You already know what I need and desire and that You are manifesting my prayers this very minute. I ask this through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Sacred Name and Holy Face. Amen~
DAILY SCRIPTURE A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew Matthew 17:22-27 22 As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is to be handed over to men, 23 and they will kill him, and he will be raised on the third day." And they were overwhelmed with grief. 24 When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the temple tax approached Peter and said, "Doesn't your teacher pay the temple tax?" 25 "Yes," he said. When he came into the house, before he had time to speak, Jesus asked him, "What is your opinion, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take tolls or census tax? From their subjects or from foreigners?" 26 When he said, "From foreigners," Jesus said to him, "Then the subjects are exempt. 27 But that we may not offend them, go to the sea, drop in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up. Open its mouth and you will find a coin worth twice the temple tax. Give that to them for me and for you."
