 I'd been wrestling with some thoughts on the horoscope section of the website over the past couple of weeks. I AM a firm believer in "standing in your belief system," therefore I had to do a little tweaking on this section in order to live comfortably in my own skin. And I have to continue to "work on me" the same as I challenge you to do. Even though I "get" and "understand" the energy of the planets and how it effects us, I do not believe for one second that I know you, better than you know you. After all, you live in your skin, not me. Your own "Free Will" changes, transforms and challenges you, just as my "Free Will" does me. I can teach you everything that I know about astrology, and your "Free Will" will dictate what you choose to do with the information. Astrology is NOT meant to predict what you will do with your Life. Only you and God know that. I don't. What astrology can do is show you the qualities, talents, gifts and energies that you already possess and it is up to you to do something with that energy. Again, Free Will. And in all likelihood, this is information you already know and it provides confirmation to your spirit. If you choose the negative aspect of the energy, then okay, it's your choice. If you choose the positive aspect, then okay, that's your choice too. The interesting thing is, an astrology chart will show whether you will have a tendency to choose the easy path or the challenging path. And you will still have a choice. Again, Free Will. When I write about increased romance, career opportunities, etc. . . this means there is a heightened energy toward that area in your Life. If you do not put your best foot forward or you choose to stay at home in a dark room, then the likelihood of those increased energies grabbing your attention will pass you over until the next time. For instance: You can consciously and deliberately take yourself out of the loop of meeting a potential partner if you do not feel ready. You may be in a job that you can't stand and you will pursue another career path when you are ready. The opportunity may be right in front of you . . yet, you may choose to remain miserable until you've had enough. How many times has coulda, woulda, shoulda happened to you??? I see coulda, woulda, shoulda's as astrological potentials. And the word "potential" means that you haven't done it yet. Ah . . . Free Will is an amazing gift. You always have "choice." The manner in which I've chosen to write the horoscopes now will challenge you to get to know yourself and use your wonderful qualities to your advantage. They are shorter, more focused and I've added a Weekly Scripture (I have to stand in my belief system). Those of you who are willing to grow and develop your spirit will embrace your Good qualities and deliberately use them to your positive advantage . . . others will merely read the horoscope and move on, continuing the same path until changes are ready to be made. When I read Natal Charts, I will teach you, show you and challenge you to be yourself and challenge you to SPEAK what you desire. It's already in your Natal Chart because the "desire" was a gift from God that was already placed in your heart at birth. Enjoy Being You! and a Bazillion Blessings --- Dr. Loretta Standley
