What are Montgomery's Glands?
Montgomery's Glands was named for William F. Montgomery, an Irish obstetrician, [1797 - 1859] which are small prominences around the nipple of the breast that enlarge during pregnancy and lactation. The area around the nipple where the Montgomery's Glands are present is called the areola.
