TAHEEBO (Tabebuia avellanedae)

Taheebo DESCRIPTION: This herb also goes by the name Pau D' Arco or Ipe Roxo. It is found in South America and used with great success as an alternative cancer treatment. Contains a high amount of iron. Taheebo is a very valuable herb in the world of medicine. It is found on Tabebuia avellanedae trees that grow in the South American rainforest. The herb comes from the internal bark of this tree.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: It has powerful antibiotic with virus-killing properties. Taheebo has been used for many years as an anti-cancer herb, and lay reports have claimed success in a variety of cancers. There is no sufficient scientific proof to support this. Anti-fungal and antibiotic properties also are claimed with topical and oral dosing for candidiasis. Taheebo is used to relieve candidiasis, pyorrhea, herpes, athlete's foot and other fungal and viral infections. The herb's anti-cancer properties are common in treating leukemia, Hodgkin's disease and cancers and tumors. Additionally, Taheebo tea can be used to support treatment in diabetes, gastritis, liver diseases, asthma, bronchitis, joint pain, hernia, ulcer and wounds.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: Do not use with anti-coagulants. Pregnant or lacting women should not use Taheebo. If Taheebo tea is taken in large quantities, it can cause nausea, vomiting, internal bleeding, diarrhea and dizziness.
