TAHEEBO (Tabebuia avellanedae)

DESCRIPTION: This herb also goes by the name Pau D' Arco or Ipe Roxo. It is found in South America and used with great success as an alternative cancer treatment. Contains a high amount of iron.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: It has powerful antibiotic with virus-killing properties. Taheebo has been used for many years as an anticancer herb, and lay reports have claimed success in a variety of cancers. There is no sufficient scientific proof to support this. Antifungal and antibiotic properties also are claimed with topical and oral dosing for candidiasis. No clinical trials have been conducted.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS: Do not use with anticoagulants. Pregnant or lacting women should not use Taheebo.
