Gum weed is high in selenium and also contains lead, traces of arsenic, tin, cadmium and zinc.
Gum weed acts as an antidote for poison ivy and poison oak. It is used for many skin conditions. It has also been used for asthma, bronchitis, bladder infections, psoriasis, uterus infections and whoooping cough, bronchial irritations and nasal congestion.
Should NOT be used with a weak heart or any heart ailments.
