(Scroll down for prayer)Origin of this prayer: I wrote this prayer in response to the Gospel - John 6:30-35. Who are you? Do you ever have a hard time figuring out who you are and what you are supposed to be doing with your Life? I've found that getting clear on my foundation, where I came from and who I serve, gives me all the clarity I'll ever need. And then I move on from that space of clarity. Before beginning any Prayer, first read it over and absorb what you will be saying. Then gather your thoughts and choose the specific words that you will be using to ask for your special request or intention, when appropriate. For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.
Father, I do believe that things happen for a reason. And even though there is mystery surrounding that statement, my actions and reactions can be demanding in my search for answers. And sometimes I get down-right angry when I don't get IT; whatever IT is. Please help me to clearly understand that timing is all Yours and increase my Faith to embrace the fact that you have absolutely everything under control. I really don't want to fly off when I can't find my keys, get angry during traffic delays, struggle with my spirituality when my career or relationships aren't arriving in the time line that I desire, or even when someone I Love gets called Home back to You. Father, I know you Love me, that You are looking out for my best interests and that You even gave the angels charge to watch over me. I am so grateful! I pray for your Divine Assistance to give me the wisdom to accept and appreciate all the mysteries of Life. Through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood and Most Holy Face. Amen~
