(Scroll down for prayer)Origin of this prayer: I wrote this prayer one day when I didn't know what to pray for anymore. All I knew was that I needed God to help me get my act together. I was confused, frustrated and I must admit, somewhat desperate and through it all, I knew turning to God was my only choice. Not to mention, the only choice I wanted to make. This prayer was the result. Who are you? Do you ever have a hard time figuring out who you are and what you are supposed to be doing with your Life? I've found that getting clear on my foundation, where I came from and who I serve, gives me all the clarity I'll ever need. And then I move on from that space of clarity. Before beginning any Prayer, first read it over and absorb what you will be saying. Then gather your thoughts and choose the specific words that you will be using to ask for your special request or intention, when appropriate. For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.
Father, You are the vine and I AM the branches. Lately I have not been producing as much in my Life as I desire and as much as you would desire me to produce. I know that I AM capable of great things and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed that I feel unsure of what to do next or what to begin for that matter. Sometimes my path seems so uncertain and I feel confused as to the road I must travel that I just feel like throwing in the towel.My Dear Heavenly Father, help me to see clearly through the overwhelming sense of confusion so that I will do things that are for my highet Good and that glorify your Name. I've been watching and listening for signs from You, although I feel that my brain is so clouded that I cannot see it or hear it. Father, please come to me and assist me in such a way that I will surely see Your Influence and Guidance.I will do my best to purge from my Life all of the things that I know are no longer working for me so that I have room to receive and embrace all that will work for me through your Divine Mercy and Grace upon me. I trust You Father. I trust that You already know what I need and desire and that You are manifesting my prayers this very minute.I ask this through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Sacred Name and Holy Face.Amen~
