(Scroll down for prayer)Origin of this prayer: Acknowledging your own faults can be one of the biggest burdens to unload. And it feels great when you can admit it to yourself and when you can drop to your knees and talk to God without reservation or hesitation. Admitting your own mistakes and bad decisions is a big deal and quite an uplifting experience. Before beginning any Prayer, first read it over and absorb what you will be saying. Then gather your thoughts and choose the specific words that you will be using to ask for your special request or intention, when appropriate. For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.

Dear Jesus Christ,
I know that I sin, and I ask for Your forgiveness.
I also believe that You arose from the grave Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You in advance for forgiving me, and for saving me through Your Merciful Grace.
In Jesus Christ's name I pray, Amen~ [ back to top ] / [back to Awesome Prayers]
