FATHER IN HEAVEN

Origin of this prayer: I cannot remember where I picked up this prayer. It reminds me of King Soloman's story where he prayed for wisdom and received it. Praying for wisdom to make the right choices is Truly relying on God's hand to touch your heart and mind.

Before beginning any Prayer, first read it over and absorb what you will be saying. Then gather your thoughts and choose the specific words that you will be using to ask for your special request or intention, when appropriate.

For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.

I'll pray with you talking feather

Father in Heaven,
make your Love the foundation of my Life.

May my Love for You
express itself
in eagerness to do Good for others.

Through the intercession of Jesus Christ,
Your Son,
by His example,
give me courage.

By His teachings,
make me wise,
so that I, like Him,
may burn with Love for Your Divine Word.

In Jesus Christ's name I pray,
who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit
One God
forever and ever. Amen~
