CONSCIOUS AGREEMENT WITH FOOD

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

This is the time of year when a lot people change up their Lifestyle and daily routine for something bigger, better and more. As you probably know from reading my Daily Messages, I am completely into Bigger, Better and More but even that needs a boundary. I enjoy food and cooking as much as the next person who vacillates in their weight from week to week.

There are some foods that I literally have to make an agreement with myself before I eat them. I know my body very well. I know what makes my body feel energetic and happy. And I also know what makes it feel lethargic, fat and bloated. Last week while Karmen (my daughter) and I were Christmas shopping we had settled on eating Italian for lunch. I kept tossing out other ideas for lunch and even said several times that after eating Italian food I will be completely wiped out the rest of the day. Not just tired, but plunked down somewhere complaining about how full I am with my pants unzipped to make room for the bloat. Well . . I made the agreement outloud to myself and Karmen that I would eat Italian knowing how it makes me feel (pasta is what I'm referring to here) and the rest of the day I was worthless.

There are some foods that my body cannot handle and flat out refuses to handle and I betcha 18 bajillion hundred thousand dollars that you also know what your body will not handle. Some people refer to this as the body being allergic to the food or sensitive to the food . . I just cut to the chase and say it makes me fat and bloated! Sugar-coating (no pun intended) how your body acts and reacts to certain foods will not make you lose weight folks. Gimme a break! There is no magic bullet, there is no magic pill . . there are food choices that you agree to and exercise choices that you make, or refuse to make, and that is what you agree to create for your body.

I know my body cannot handle anything white. Simple as that! Your body may be able to do this . . mine cannot and I know it. I am referring to white rice, white flour, sugar and milk. Remember how I always say, "When it's the Truth, it shows up everywhere!" All of the fad diets out there that allow me to be a protein eater will work for me. That's just the way it is folks. I could not be vegetarian if I tried (and I have) and I don't like it, it doesn't make me happy and I won't do it again. For this body, I stick with God-made food . . "If it runs, jumps, crawls, swims, hops, climbs or flies . . if it grows on a vine, bush, tree, plant or out of the ground . . it's goin' down! . . I'm eating it!"

That may offend the vegetarians but this body is not vegetarian and never will be. So please vegetarians, do not take this personal. Since I enjoy food that grows on a vine, bush, tree, plant or out of the ground . . I am very picky as to where I get these food products. I shop at an open air farmers market here in St. Louis typically on Saturday, which I Love taking my grandson. I also shop organic at a health food store, buy caged free eggs and I ALWAYS eat at least one salad a day. I will eat absolutely any edible vegetable on the planet with the exception of mushrooms. NO WAY will I eat a mushroom but that's just me. This body absolutely has to have protein. Soy, tofu and vegi-burgers just do not do it for me. I've already done the 40-day soy, vegi, tofu, gardenburger Lifestyle and was miserable.

I also do not enjoy eating man-made food. That means I do not eat boxed, packaged, canned, refined, baked or processed foods. Maybe in a pinch I will eat it but it is not my preference for food because IT'S FAKE! Fingerfood at a party does not interest me. I need something I can sink my OMNIVORE teeth into. If you were to open my cabinets, you would find spices but not a lot of food. Vegetables in a can are not for me. I need to snap my green beans, cut my carrots and schuck my corn. Food in a box or cellophane wrapper is not for me. My body needs God-made fuel to generate all that ATP (adenosine triphosphate) needed to function throughout the day. I have places to go and people to play with and I need that energy. (winky wink)

Read more about dietary tips right here on this site!

My point is folks . . . you know your body better than me. You live inside yourself every single day. You know exactly what makes you miserable, fat and bloated. I know that Italian, Chinese and any white food will just put me to sleep and I will gain weight. I enjoy these foods and will eat these foods but only with the conscious agreement that I will be 'checking out of the system' the rest of the day. When it comes to Mexican or Japanese food, I can eat it continually and never gain a pound. Yummy . . tacos and sushi . . but not together of course. I'm also not a dessert person. Dessert to me is, "Gimme another piece of meat!" Again, that's just me. If you know of a food group that causes you to gain weight, check out of the system and be lazy, then make a conscious agreement before you decide to take that bite.

Now get out there, play yourself UP! and practice being YOU!

HOW 'S-P-E-C-I-A-L' ARE YOU?

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

It's been exactly a week since I last wrote to you. In fact, it was the day before I prayed the Novenas last Wednesday. The Fire Ceremony, was completely 'spiritually romantic' and I wish you all could have been there with me, although I do know you were there in spirit.

I did receive several e-mails since last week wondering if I was "okay" after praying all of those prayers that many of you had sent to me. This is the perfect time to let you know that I do not take on other people's issues when I hear them, when I 'feel' them or when I pray for them. I may 'feel' it deeply at that moment but I do take 'take it on'. In other words, I do not allow it to stay with me. I can't say that this has always been the case because that is one of the first things that I learned how NOT to do in clinical practice. I remember back in the day when I was treating patients, there were many days when I would absorb so much of the patient's energy that I would find myself too tired to go home at night and I would simply sleep in one of the treatment rooms. The next morning I would go to the gym a few blocks away when it opened at 5:00 a.m., shower, change clothes and back to work I would go to see my first patient at 6:00 a.m. before anyone else arrived for work. Then my yoga instructor would arrive during lunch and she would help me re-collect my energies by taking me through what felt like 45,000 postures. She was one tough yoga instructor.

I would start my day at 6:00 a.m. treating the colonic hydrotherapy patients before anyone else arrived for acupuncture treatments, chiropractic adjustments, ear candling, Applied Kinesology, herbal poultice or compress treatments, or nutritional and lifestyle counseling that I offered, which included an on-site holistic pharmacy. There is no doubt, there were a lot of patients with a lot of different issues. After my day was complete with seeing patients, I would run off and hold a lecture or workshop locally or I would hold one of these lectures or workshops in my clinic. My day typically ended between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m., WOW! did that treatment room table look comfey at the end of the day. Then I would get up and do it all again the next day.

One of the main reasons why I decided to pursue the Life that I have now is because I found myself going deeper with my patients. I wanted my patients WELL in 7 visits or less! PERIOD! Why 7 visits? ("Or less" is what I preferred.) I didn't know but it was just a number that was in my head. If they did not get well, then what Good was I doing? That meant I needed to go deeper and find out why they showed up in my clinic. There had to be a reason. So one weekend I was hanging out with Dr. Norm Shealy and Carolyn Myss and I started getting ants in my pants. I felt an urgency to be alone and drive home. So I left at the minute I felt it. On the way home I started talking to God and asked him why do my patients get well so fast? I knew I was doing something different and necessary but I could not put my finger on it. I needed to know exactly what I was doing so that I could take IT to the masses. Instead of treating one patient at a time, I wanted to treat 5 million or more at a time. (No kidding)

As I was asking God what it was 'exactly' that I do with my patients that helps them get well so fast, it was then that I heard the DLG (Download from God), "Loretta, you get 'spiritually involved' in their business." Then I heard, "And you connect with their 'physical energy'." Next I heard, "And you identity their 'emotional attachments." Then came, You also find out their 'chemical balance'. Write this down Loretta. Write it down!" Quickly, while still driving I dug for a pen and found an old receipt and wrote down . . Spiritual Involvement, Physical Energy, Emotional Attachments, Chemical Balance when I realized it was an acronym . . so far I had SPEC. Then He said to me, "Loretta, I made you all unique and special. There's only one of you." I thought, "Oh now that's cool, from The Man Himself. From God's Lips to my ears!" Then I yelled, "That's it! We're all SPECIAL! Right? What's next?" He said to me, "You help them with their Still, Small Inner Voice (referring to Himself), you help them with their intuition and what they already know." I knew the "Still, Small Inner Voice" in scripture written about in 1 Kings, so I wrote down Intuitive Response. Intuitively I knew that the 'L' in SPECIAL was Loving Respect, so I wrote that down too.

I found myself forcing and intellectualizing what the 'A' meant instead of listening and allowing God to guide me. (See, that's what happens when we take control.) (winky wink) So I decided to take a DLG break and turn on the radio. Keep in mind that I enjoy hard core rock n' roll, so when I turned on the radio it was an Ozzy Osbourne tune. I just Love his music! Then I thought to myself, "Why do these gifted and wonderful artists blow their God-given talent and do drugs? Then it hit me, God sent me an Ozzy Osbourne tune to reach me, as I called out to God, "That's it isn't it? It's Artistic Creation and Expression? Right?" He responded, "Yes, I AM the Creator and you are creative."

Remember the number 7 that I had in my mind for maximum patient visits? . . . Interestingly enough S-P-E-C-I-A-L has 7 letters and in the Treat Yourself SPECIAL Program it matches the 7 chakras.

Once S-P-E-C-I-A-L hit my brain, I knew that I would be leaving my practice to teach the masses what I was already teaching the patients in my clinic. Now I could put my finger on it and the Treat Yourself SPECIAL Program was 'created'. In order to reach my desired goal of 5 million, I would create this website. I just didn't realize that 5 million would come every week. Folks, as a gentle reminder, this entire website follows the S-P-E-C-I-A-L acronym and the entire program was 'created' through many DLGs. This website is not about me, it is about you. I urge you to sift through the entire site and connect your S-P-E-C-I-A-L dots. You really are a highly S-P-E-C-I-A-Lized person and I betcha that I can prove it!

So you see, absorbing someone else's problems would not be right because our problems are unique and necessary for our own spiritual progression path. There are some things that we simply have to do and learn for ourselves. Helping someone with a problem is one thing, taking on their problem is another. Remember Simon of Cyrene helped carry the cross for Jesus; the rest of the journey Jesus had to do Himself. When I am away from this website folks, always assume that it is All Good. It's all Good folks!

Now get out there, play yourself UP! and practice being YOU!

SITUATIONAL AWARENESS

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

With or without a psychology degree, most of you may have heard of 'situational awareness'. In its most simplistic definition it is being aware of your situation. The expanded definition includes three levels which are - Level 1 perception of elements (what is), Level 2, comprehending what those elements mean and Level 3, using that understanding to project future states.

I remember the first time 'situational awareness' was noted by my brain. I was in Walgreens looking at the various bottles of body lotion. (I'm a dedicated Nivea girl myself.) There was a woman standing right beside me for several minutes doing the same, when she immediately turned left and walked right into me. She said, "Oh, excuse me. I didn't see you." I said, "That's okay" and that was it. Being the curious Gemini that I am and consciously living the thought that everything means something or more popularly worded, everything happens for a reason, my brain immediately registered a few things about her. Seriously folks, that is how I think 24/7 as my brain moves quickly even on little things such as this.

I quickly noted that she didn't have ptosis, which is a drooping of the lateral part of the eyelids that may be so severe that it can impair vision, most commonly peripheral vision. I understand her attention was focused, but folks, I was standing RIGHT BESIDE her! As she walked away, it was clear she wasn't blind and I don't mean that sarcastically. I was completely mesmerized by this woman's momentary lapse of situational awareness that I began watching others more closely and myself even closer. I recalled when I was so mentally focused that I lost sight of everything in my field of vision, including the periphery AND what was directly in front of me. I have drawn the conclusion that whether I am standing in line, walking, riding my bike, driving a car, etc., do not assume the other person sees you. In other words, I can't speak for anyone else but my situational awareness has definitely improved. I am referring to a physical level, as well as an artistic, chemical, emotional, intuitive, loving and spiritual level. Interestingly enough, this encompasses all 7 levels of the TYS e-Course.

Situational awareness is one of those things that fascinates the heck out of me, everyday! Yesterday when I arrived here in Chicago, I had an opportunity to people watch before my ride arrived. I began wondering about all of the other ways we have a lapse in situational awareness besides bumping into one another. As I watched a man running full throttle through the airport, I wondered IF he had a lapse in situational awareness earlier in the day that set him up for the 100 yard dash through the airport. IF SO, through no other fault but his own, anyone who was in his way would now be sucked into his lapse in situational awareness. It could have been something as simple as keeping track of the time. How fair is that because now others will pay for it? Keep in mind this example is ONLY IF it was his lapse in situational awareness and not someone's else's lapse in situational awareness impacting him. See how this can snowball very quickly.

Speaking of "pay for it" . . this whole 'situational awareness' train of thought brought me to the Christmas season, shopping, gift giving and bank accounts. The Scorpio Moon is in place from this evening until early Monday morning, which has a very strong impact on purchases. Make certain you read your daily horoscope today to find out what the impact is. Folks, this is the time of year where so many people are not 'situationally aware' of their financial situation. Whatever you do, make certain that you are one of those people who is aware of your finances.

TEND TO YOUR INTENTIONS

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

While I am a firm believer and huge supporter of positive affirmations, active intentions and goal setting . . I think you will have a much easier time achieving your goals if you take action on them. The upcoming NEW MOON (December 20th) is a perfect time to begin something NEW, which means you do not have to wait until New Year's Day to shift your attitude or change your habits. Start shifting your thoughts right now toward bigger, better and more.

Many of us have goals in our mind's eye of how we ultimately want to live our Life, what we want to achieve and how we want to be effective, but doing nothing about it is no way to achieve that goal. Having a goal is a nice thought and 'a thought' is really all it is unless you do something about it. If you have a list of goals, then make certain that you also have a list of intentions for each goal. In other words, what do you 'intend' to do about it? Then get busy 'tending to those intentions'.

When it comes to goals, it drives me crazy when people say, "Well my intentions were Good." So let's say you had intentions but did nothing . . . how is that Good? You have to 'tend to your intentions'. If you 'intend to' . . . then let's see it happen so that your goal can be realized. What if I had a goal to build a website but did nothing? How could my intentions be Good without action? Thinking about it is one thing, doing it is another. My question is . . "If you have a goal, what do you intend to do in order to make it happen?"

HEADS AND TAILS

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

Most of you know from previous Daily Messages that I do not have a car because I ride a bike. I live in the City limits of St. Louis and everything that I need is within blocks of my house. Not to mention traveling as much as I do makes little sense to own a car only to have it sit for a couple of weeks out of the month. I considered buying a car about a month ago only to realize that I just didn't need one living here. I live in a very hip, artsy and eclectic area of town so riding a bike for transportation is the norm. My neighborhood is peppered with restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, bookstores, vintage clothing stores and hoppin' night Life. I Love it! Not to mention, all of my friends and church are literally within a block or two. Riding a bike is not that big of a deal.

As I may have shared with you before, I would easily fall under the label Tom-Boy and it shows as I pedal about town. Yesterday the rain was nearing and I wanted to get my morning errands complete before the rain hit. Riding my bike in the rain would not have been a problem but why choose that route if I don't have to? I'm not your typical bike rider with all the special gear and bright colored clothing. Because I tend to take a lot of risk while bicycling, I always wear my Doc Martin hiking boots to protect my feet. It's a South Node Pisces thing because Pisces rules the feet (fish tail). I'm a shoe fanatic and my feet have to feel safe. I know it's weird.

Once I get on my bike, all of the sudden I turn into one of those bikers on Extreme Sports and I start doing my stunt-work just to see how high I can jump onto a curb or how many stairs I can ride down in front of the bank. I have even rode down the stairs in front of the Gateway Arch successfully and unsuccessfully. I have had my share of crash landings and smacked my tail with my crazy antics, which is another reason why the Doc Martin's and jeans are vital to my cycling joy!

So there I was yesterday jumping through the air from the road and onto the curb only to clear the curb but caught a huge break in the pavement. I remember gently saying to myself, "Oh no, not again." Not even with an exclamation point folks. I have been in this scene several times before. My front wheel slammed into the break in the pavement and I just felt the tire flatten instantaneously and then I fell over like Artie (the old guy) from the 70's show "Laugh In." Remember how he just tipped over on his tricycle in slow motion. Well I did the same thing. I'm on the ground at least once a week so it's not a big deal. I always say outloud to myself, "Get up and get back on Loretta." The difference between this crash landing and the others was I never flattened a tire. RATS!

So without laying on the ground too long because it was wet from melting ice, I picked up my bike and started pushing it to complete my errands. Remember, the rain is coming. Not two seconds later I thought, "Well maybe God wants me to walk. So I'm walking." Then I thought that's baloney. God didn't pop my tire, I did! Why assume He popped my tire when I was the one who did it? There has to be opportunity here and it has to be Good. You know my thinking folks . . nothing is for our lowest bad because it doesn't make sense. This has to be for my Highest Good.

Then I had this whole conversation with God wondering if He popped it, if an Angel popped it or did I pop it. Then I heard my DLG (Download from God) say, "Does it matter Loretta? We're having a great conversation and you got what you needed. A popped tire." I laughed because there was my answer. Folks, sometimes we get exactly what we need at just the right time. And the cool thing is that God is there ready to chit-chat. I needed a popped tire. I didn't know why, but I was told I needed it. I remember thinking, "It's a Good thing this isn't a car. This is only going to cost me $10 max and a flat tire on a car would cost . . what?" After I finished my errands while pushing my bike, I hopped the light rail system and headed about 4 miles away to the bike shop. The only thing I could do was express my gratitude that the rain had not yet arrived and I was not injured. God is soooo Good. And I did promise Him and my Guardian Angel that I will start being more careful and less careless.

Now do you want to know why I really believe my tire popped when it has never happened before? Because I needed a helmet. Yep, I've been riding around acting like a stunt-woman without a helmet for five years. Even I know better than this and did it anyway. The minute I walked into that bicycle shop and I saw those helmets hanging, I knew exactly why my tire popped and why I was there.

MY UPCOMING NOVENA

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

Also please note above that there is a NEW MOON on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 and I will be completely unavailable on this date even to friends and family. On December 20th I will be praying three 9-Hour Novenas. Typically when I pray a Novena, I do a moving meditation of deep cleaning in my home in silence while reciting other prayers over and over again until the top of the hour when I pray the Novenas once again. This time I am asking for you to send me prayers for you and your Loved ones. Just e-mail them to me at -- prayerlist@drstandley.com. You can start sending me these prayers now up until 5:00 a.m., CST December 20th. I will begin at 6:00 AM CST and end at 3:00 PM CST after which I will be doing a Fire Ceremony. There is a specific reason why I will be ending the Novena at 3:00 PM. Click the link and find the reason. Naturally, because of my BOLD belief system, I will be praying directly to Source (God) in the name of Jesus, through His Most Precious Blood and Most Holy Face. Please keep these prayers short and sweet because believe me, God already knows your heart, what you need and what you desire. God doesn't need a long description, we do. He also wants us to pray with Trust, Faith, Flat-Out Certainty and Gratitude that He has heard our prayer. And I can hold that Trust, Faith, Flat-Out Certainty and Gratitude. I'm there folks!

In Native American custom this is also known as the Faithkeeper. I can do this no matter what you are enduring.

HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES: If you do not want to provide a birth date, that is fine but please use your real name. The birth date is not just for me to connect with you, it is my clarity to God on the exact person I am praying for because there are tons of people out there with the same name. Being a Gemini, I enjoy clarity and Good communication! These are only examples. Use one or make your own. I will not just rattle off each prayer. Each prayer will be said each hour with purity of intent, sincerity and with advance gratitude that God's positive response in instantly in the works.

Praying for you and with you will also help to keep me in that prayful mode for 9 hours straight. Send as many prayers as you like in your e-mail.

After which I will be doing a Fire Ceremony for myself. If you would like your prayer request included in the Fire Ceremony just let me know. If you do not, I will be left to throw away the prayer and I prefer not to treat a prayer request in that manner but it is up to you. You can send as many prayers as you like and I will print off your e-mail, which will be used in the Fire Ceremeony.

WORKING MY SATURN

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

Last night my grandson "Big Tree" came over to spend the night. After turning my entire residence into a "Tree House" so we could play, we settled into an evening of watching movie after movie after movie. Since I always let him stay up until he nearly falls over, I sat on the couch going through old paperwork, receipts, bank statements and anything that had to do with finances. Then it hit me, Saturn in Leo in retrograde motion is moving through my 2nd house of value systems, money, morals and personal possessions because Leo rules my 2nd house. So there I was digging into the past of my 2nd house. Talk about DPT (Divine Perfect Timing). Once I realized what was going on, my tune changed as to why I was doing what I was doing and it became easier to sift through the past and rid myself of some of this paper trail. I ended up with 9 bags of paper trail. Believe it baby! Since I am a conservative in many areas of my Life, these 9 bags will serve 'the group' well in one of our backyard bonfires.

I admit, I am Receipt-Aholic. Folks, I had receipts going back at least 10 years. I know exactly what I have spent money on. A Good value means a lot to me. I do not spend money on stupid trinkets that collect dust. And I definitely do not buy useless gifts for others. I am a utilitarian! I have to "use" what I buy. When you look at your bank statements and receipts, you will see exactly what your value system represents. After all, we spend money on what we find value in. I am completely aware this when I create a product or service on this website because I have a Capricorn Moon. Being that Capricorn is THE MOST materialistic and utilitarian sign of the zodiac, I am all about providing a Good value to my clients and providing as much bang for the buck as possible. Capricorn is the utilitarian of the zodiac, which follows their motto of "I use therefore I am." My goal is providing products or services that my clients will USE and get as much out of the product or service as possible.

Example #1 - My Home-made Salts: There is a reason why I concentrate my bath salts so that you can get 40 baths out of one package. When I see a package of bath salts in the store or on the internet where you get only one or two baths for $9.95, that does not sound like a Good value to me. NO WAY would I spend money like that. I will be the first to admit, I'm a 'gimme more' person. My Capricorn Moon is exactly why I concentrate them enough to provide 40 baths, using only 1 level tablespoon per bath. To me, that's a great value.

Example #2 - Before I begin a reading with a talkative client, which I will automatically know from their birth date, I will remind that person if they are talking, then I'm not. That's means if they are talking, then they have just paid well earned money to hear themselves talk. And that to me is not a Good value. I will call you on it in a reading if you are talking more than me. My goal is to fill up your brain with more than enough information, in the amount of time that we have, so that you have tools and confidence to go after bigger, better and more. I am looking to get you results. That's all I want. In other words, I'm looking to provide you with "News you can USE," which to me is a Good value.

Example #3 - When writing Transits and Progressions Reports I still have a habit of providing an overwhelming amount of information. A one month report can be as much as 60 pages but they are incredibly accurate and are wonderfully USEFUL! Keep in mind, that is what I am after . . USE! Just like when I was writing Natal Charts, they were 90 pages long. Bottom line, I'm after providing a Good service (Virgo North Node) and value (Capricorn Moon). Remember, Virgo rules the 6th house of "service" and so bad service drives me bonkers!

Since I am now conscious that I was sitting right in the midst of a Saturn Retrograde Paper-Trail-Fest, then you know that I will be even more diligent personally and professionally in this area of my natal chart. Saturn Retrograde will also be challenging me to correct my past 2nd house behaviors (morals and values), which at times were not very attractive. Thank God I'm seeing and handling this Saturn retrograde motion early on. Did you know that Saturn also likes to reward for a job well done? I want to be rewarded for a job well done, don't you? Remember to pay attention to the house that Leo rules in your Natal Chart so that you clear the past and be ready to receive the reward for a job well done.

SATURN RETROGRADE

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

Folks, we are entering a time period where our past (Saturn) checks-in with us to see how much we have learned from that past. Keep in mind that Saturn is in Leo right now until September 15, 2007 but is in Retrograde Motion beginning today until April 19, 2007. You must remember that retrograde motion is merely an illusion. Folks, it isn't real, although your response to it is real. I will give you several examples below to help you through this. Retrograde means 'backward' and when you think about it, no planet ever really moves backward. It is merely the Sun casting a shadow on the planet making it appear as though it has slowed down to the point of moving backward.

Example #2 way down below is ONLY for those who have Saturn Retrograde in their Natal Chart or if you have been abused. Take that information and apply it to the house where Saturn sits in your Natal Chart in Example #1.

SATURN KEYWORDS: Fear, past, karma, patience, contraction (squeezing), effort, discipline, responsibility, restriction, teacher, taskmaster, lessons, hard, father, authority, seriousness, stability, caution, mature, concentration, endurance, work and persistence.

The planet Saturn

My Goodness! When you look at those keywords, you would think that Saturn is trying to tell us something. Those keywords make it clear that Saturn is set on challenging us to grow up, fly right and get our act together. Now what do you think will happen if you deliberately choose not to take responsibility and discipline yourself? Take a wild guess . . . then Saturn will do it for you. OUCHY! Saturn will teach you a lesson, just like a father and authority figure would do. Saturn has no problem getting out the belt and whacking your behind for your own Good. Saturn will ground you and take away your toys. No going out for you on Saturday night if you cannot behave and act responsible. Saturn will also cause you to hold others responsible for their actions. Especially those from your past.

Here we go . . . whenever I type the word "Saturn" below, remember all of the keywords that go with Saturn. Memorize these keywords and practice them every single day, especially until April 19, 2007.

Wherever you find Saturn in your Natal Chart is where Saturn will be holding you solely accountable. Now until April 19, 2007 Saturn in retrograde motion is where your actions and reactions will be addressed. Also, please note, since Saturn is in Leo, the house in your Natal Chart ruled by Leo will also be affected. For me, Saturn sits in my 7th house of relationships in my Natal Chart and Leo rules my 2nd house of money, morals, values and possessions. So I will be addressing both 2nd and 7th house issues. Wanna trade?

EXAMPLE #1

SATURN IN THE 1ST HOUSE - You may experience an early reticence to express yourself. You may be limited by feelings of inadequacy which spring from early childhood. You are responsible and reliable, and probably somewhat cautious. These issues will be revisited during Saturn retrograde and will need to be cleared. Also, please note, since Saturn is in Leo, the house in your Natal Chart ruled by Leo will also be affected.

SATURN IN THE 2ND HOUSE - You may experience feelings of emotional and financial poverty early in life. Later you will develop an ability to build up your personal resources through hard work. These issues will be revisited during Saturn retrograde and will need to be cleared. Also, please note, since Saturn is in Leo, the house in your Natal Chart ruled by Leo will also be affected. (Leo happens to rule my 2nd house.)

SATURN IN THE 3RD HOUSE - Your communicating ability may have been restricted in early childhood resulting from a fear of expressing yourself. You may gradually build up a skill in communicating through your own hard efforts. These issues will be revisited during Saturn retrograde and will need to be cleared. These issues will be revisited during Saturn retrograde and will need to be cleared. Also, please note, since Saturn is in Leo, the house in your Natal Chart ruled by Leo will also be affected.

Also, please note, since Saturn is in Leo, the house in your Natal Chart ruled by Leo will also be affected.

SATURN IN THE 11TH HOUSE - You are shy in groups of people and have a handful of serious friendships. You may carefully select your friends, or socialise mainly with colleagues. These issues will be revisited during Saturn retrograde and will need to be cleared. Also, please note, since Saturn is in Leo, the house in your Natal Chart ruled by Leo will also be affected.

SATURN IN THE 12TH HOUSE - You fear anything hidden. This may be because you feel that your own boundaries are constantly threatened. A serious examination of hidden realms may help you to conquer your fears. These issues will be revisited during Saturn retrograde and will need to be cleared. Also, please note, since Saturn is in Leo, the house in your Natal Chart ruled by Leo will also be affected.

IS SATURN RETROGRADE IN YOUR NATAL CHART?
(or have you been abused?)

1) Example #2 - Those who HAVE Saturn Retrograde in their Natal Chart and those who have been abused.

They are the ones who rebel against authority. These people will not be pushed around. They typically have father issues and have probably gone through a time when they did not even believe in the Ultimate Father (God). Those with Saturn Retrograde are often victims at the hand of someone who was in authority or someone who had power over them. When these people grow up . . they are PISSED OFF, with an emphasis on the "pissed" and "off". Sorry, but there was no other way to say it. They have a chip on their shoulder. These people have been violated. During Saturn Retrograde, the feelings from that legitimate anger may return if the individual has not yet dealt with it and the probability of the victim holding the abuser accountable will happen during Saturn Retrograde. Confrontation is inevitable if the individual chooses to put the responsibility where it should be in the first place. Keep in mind that abuse in astrology shows up in many forms in the Natal Chart. This is just one of them. Also, abuse in astrology is either sexual, emotional, physical, neglect, fear (intimidation) or chemical. In astrology, abuse is abuse and no one form is worse than the other because it is still abuse.

When Saturn goes retrograde affecting those in Example #1, because they naturally have Saturn retrograde in their Natal Chart, the illusion is that they are holding everyone else accountable and not really the person who did the abusing. This is a perfect example of an abused woman who holds all men accountable when it just isn't true. That is the illusion. She will often seek out men just like the abuser in order to gain the Love that was not properly given in the first place. If this illusion has not been properly addressed, the feelings may return in order to address it once and for all. In this instance, the illusion is that all men are created equal. The reality is they are all different.

These individuals (male or female) with Saturn Retrograde in their natal chart are tough and they are typically arrogant because they rebel against authority, which is also an illusion. They are really reserved, alone, shy and introverted. They will voluntarily isolate themselves from others (family and friends) because they are not understood by them. That's because they are not telling others their personal abused business. The healing will come when they realize that it was not their fault once and for all, thereby turning to a higher authority figure than the one they encountered here on the planet . . . namely, God the Ultimate Father. These people will become very spiritual and closer to God as a result. If that is what they choose. It's all free will. The free will of one person affects the free will of another person. A person with this a Retrograde Saturn in their Natal Chart will now have to learn responsibility and self-discipline because it was not taught properly to them. YOU MUST ACCEPT PERSONALITY RESPONSIBILITY for all of your 'free will actions and reactions', otherwise it is a Life of blaming the abuser and everyone else for who you are. You must overcome this.

FOLLOW THE RULES

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

The most frequently encountered phrase that I read or hear is, "I want to understand this!" I remember when I first started college at age 27, I had to take developmental math all over again because when I graduated from high school the highest level of math that I completed was Basic Math. I couldn't even test into Basic Algebra because I had never had it. Even worse, I couldn't remember any of the Basic Math I took in high school, namely fractions and percents. Talk about depressing! And the reason why I started college in the first place was because I couldn't help my daughter Karmen with 3rd grade math, which was fractions and percents. I just wanted to understand it.

Fast forward a semester . . so one day I'm sitting in Ruby Tuesday's with my boyfriend at the time and I was working on Basic Algebra homework. I was getting so frustrated and nearly started crying. That's me, emotional Cancer Rising. He took out a pencil and started explaining the problem to me and reminded me that in Algebra there are rules. In my textbook, "the rules" were in those light blue boxes centered on the page. I said, "I'm not Good at math! I just want to understand this!" He firmly said, "Loretta! as he tapped the lead of the pencil really hard on the paper until it snapped, "This is NOT math! It is Algebra and you will use the principle's of math to work the problem. Do you know how to add, subtract, divide and multiply?" Sniffling, I meekly said, "Yes." Ever so gently, he looked me directly in the eye, smiled and said, "Now read the rule before you begin, use the principle's of math and work the problem." The rule said, "Whatever you do on one side of the equation, you have to do on the other side." So I did. IT'S THE RULE and I have to do it unless I choose not to and get a bad grade!

To further reinforce the lesson he said to me, "Do you know how to spell? Feeling more confident, I proudly said, "Yes." He said, "And do you use the alphabet and the principle's of grammar to spell? Aren't there rules for spelling? Like - i before e except after c? Grinning from ear to ear I replied, "Yes." Then dipping his head he leaned across the table and said, "Now do we have to talk about the rules of the road and your driving?"

Interestingly enough, one of my degrees is in Physics. It's amazing what you can do when you learn and apply the rules.

Folks, astrology is the same way. At the top of the each horoscope page I have a message that says, "Astrology is not Law; God is the Law! Astrology is "the rules;" and the rules are often broken." Just follow the rules and your Life will be so much easier. If the rule says there is a void of course Moon and it behaves in a certain way and you go against that rule, then that is your problem. I have written a lot about the North and South Node in archived Daily Messages. I continually say to stay away from your South Node (the drain and bottomless pit) and focus on your North Node (where your cup runneth over). So what do you think the natural human instinct is to do? That's right, a person will want to break the rule and talk about overcoming that South Node, which completely takes their mind off success in the North Node. If you choose not to follow the rules in astrology, then you will have a hard time understanding it, much less getting information that will help you become more successful in Love, career, money and so much more.

EASILY AND EFFORTLESSLY NOW!

AudioOsda Sunalei [Good Morning in Cherokee]

I always say that I'm into "easily and effortlessly now" simply because I do not consciously, deliberately and voluntarily dig on the struggle.

The computer crash gave me something to think about. Since I claim to be into "easily and effortlessly now," it took no longer than five minutes after the meltdown for me to start thinking about the perfect time for a change. Remember, this had to be Good because thinking this was bad just wouldn't make any logical sense. This was an opportunity for me to simplify, restructure and reorganize. All I had to do was claim "easily and effortlessly now".

Just because I choose the mindset of "easily and effortlessly now" does not mean that I don't face my share of challenges because I do. I just voluntarily choose to snap out of the drama quickly because I cannot stand to be unproductive or stagnated. I don't think about it, I just do it by applying the simplest solution available to me. Call it Occam's (Ockham's) Razor, the definition of a straight line is between two points or simply the easiest solution has to be the most logical.

Folks, God does not make Life difficult for us . . we do!
