I think it's obvious why this book is my ALL TIME FAVORITE!!! This is the best book in the world! The more I read, the more I can't get enough. I sit with my Bible and the dictionary, looking, digging, probing for insight and answers. The more I read, the more I say to myself, "Cool. The Man wins again! Oh yeah, I get it!" Everything you ever wanted to know about God, Jesus, Love, wisdom, triumph, miracles, knowledge, blood, sweat and tears. It's all here in one handy-dandy book! Kick off your shoes and curl up with this one, it's a crowd pleaser!
This book contains 40 Chapters within 12 Sections of brain-stimulating, mind-bending spiritual truths to put into practice in your daily life. Do you accept the challenge?
Excerpt: "When God was making a change in His plan, He always used 40 days as a period of testing, trial or probation. It was a period of transformation and regeneration. The earth was flooded for 40 days, the Israelites were in the desert for 40 days, Moses prayed on Mt. Sinai for 40 days, Elijah prayed on Mt. Sinai for 40 days and Jesus went into the wilderness to pray it was for 40 days. We also recognize that Lent takes place over a 40-day period."
Even the gestation of a human being is 40 weeks and the TV show, "Survivor" lasts 40 days.
Excerpt: "I propose the reason why 30-day programs have such a low success rate is because they are out of alignment with Divine Order. They fall short of the necessary 40 days for transformation to occur.
EXCERPT: I wasn't born an animal communicator or a pet psychic (I didn't talk to ducks when I was a child). These are skills I learned, and I believe that we can all be animal communicators. As well as doing consulting work, I now teach basic communication and energy workshops so that pet guardians, breeders, trainers, and healthcare practitioners can learn how to get the facts that lead to understanding their animals' problems and needs.
People flock to my classes to find out how to receive information from animals, thinking that this will make the communication with them better - but it's a two-way street (at the very least). In these pages, I hope you'll see not only how much you're already receiving, but also what you're presently sending. Learning to transmit better messages more effectively can enhance all aspects of your Life.
Sitting Bull was a leader among his people, the Lakota. He loved them, he sacrified for them and he was eventually killed by them.
Many historians have written many things about this great leader. But no one knew him better than his family. Ernie LaPointe is Sitting Bull's only living lineal great grandson.
In the two part series, "The Authorized Biography of Sitting Bull by His Great Grandson", Ernie LaPointe for the first time reveals the oral history passed down to him from his mother, Sitting Bull's granddaughter. In Part One: The Making Of A Leader, Ernie tells how his great grandfather came to become leader of the Lakota.

12 books in the series www.leftbehind.com
In this picture you will see 13 books, which includes the first prequel "The Rising." The Left Behind Series is 12 books total, plus 1 prequel so far. I read the first 12 books all in one month. This series is about "the rapture" and those who have been "left behind" after Jesus raptures His church. The series has sold over 80 million copies. WOW WEE! I still miss the characters in this book. So much that I'm thinking about reading the entire series again. Woooo, this is some Gooooood reading! This series is fiction, although the spirituality and thought-provoking messages are easy to relate to, especially if you are a Christian.

Tim LaHaye has called Babylon Rising his most exciting series ever, and The Europa Conspiracy is the most thrilling and suspenseful installment yet. But the closer he gets to deciphering the true meaning of Daniel’s ancient message for our troubled times, the closer Murphy comes to a shattering confrontation with the forces of darkness that will cause the earth itself to tremble.

by Florence Scovel Shinn
96 pages - $9.99 (Softcover)
This book was written in 1925 and is just as popular today as it was then. Florence Scovel Shinn was a metaphysician and lecturer. This book taught me how to thought manifest. It also taught me how to call in abundance, love and prosperity and how to pay attention to my spoken word.
Florence Scovel Shinn is my absolute favorite author. She woke me up!
by Florence Scovel Shinn
355 pages - $12.00 (Softcover)
If you are a Shinn fan like I AM, this is the deal of the century. Her four complete books all wrapped into one soft cover. The Game of Life, the Power of the Spoken Word, Your Word is Your Wand and The Secret of Success. Complete with affirmations for every circumstance in your life.
The DaVinci Code was an absolute blast to read. I Love puzzles, which is often how I describe this website. The DaVinci Code was a fascinating book of fiction, which author Dan Brown nailed down cold. The important thing to remember is this book is "fiction."
I read all four of Dan Brown's best-sellers. Angels and Demons was by far his best work. I typically fall asleep right when my head hits the pillow, but this book actually kept me awake and turning the pages.
I could have done without reading this book because it was a little too far-fetched for me (and I usually Love far-fetched!) Although I'm glad I did read it because I Loved the ending.
I just finished Digital Fortress the other night and thought it was great. If you like code-breaking, this is a Good one. Even though I was able to put it down at times, I was still rehashing in my head the characters and the "possible" unbreakable code.
I think I like John Grisham because his characters usually end up somewhere in the Cayman Islands, which is my most favorite vacation spot EVER. Actually his books are a quick easy read and I learn a little about law at the same time.

If you ask most financial experts, they'll tell you the answer to eliminating money worries for good lies in first establishing a budget and then sticking to it. However, according to nationally acclaimed money coach David Bach, living on a budget is a strategy that does not work. "If you are hoping to budget your way to financial security, you are doomed," says Bach.
"Contrary to popular belief, you don't need to make a lot of money to become rich and you don't need discipline," maintains Bach.

by Jean Chatzky
of NBC's Today Show, Money Magazine and featured columnist for USA Weekend
234 pages - $23.95 (Hardcover) www.JeanChatzky.com
Thousands of personal finance books start with the premise that the more money you have, the happier you’ll be. But what if that assumption isn’t true? What if the real link between money and happiness is a lot more complicated -- and a lot more interesting?
For more than two years, Jean Chatzky has been deluged with e-mail from her readers at Money magazine, and from people who watch her regularly on NBC’s Today show. Many, but not all, were anguished about their sinking 401(k) plans, their disrupted dreams of an early retirement, and their fears about unemployment, debt, college tuition, and other financial hazards. These fans got Chatzky wondering: why did the same recession, the same stock market crash, cause such different stress levels for people with similar incomes?
Psychologists know that the old cliché is true: money alone can’t buy happiness. But no one ever studied what that means in the real world of earning, spending, saving, and investing. What specific behaviors and habits separate people who are usually happy about their finances from those who are usually anxious and afraid? With the support of Money and the Roper organization, Chatzky decided to
find out. She organized a groundbreaking survey of more than 1500 Americans to find out exactly what distinguishes "financially happy" people at every income level.

This book was published in 1995 and is still the best Yoga book I've ever seen. If you are just getting started in Yoga or even if you are more advanced in Yoga, this is the book for you. This was my first and only Yoga book and I still use. I just lay it on the floor and go to work when I can't remember a more advanced posture. I suggest going to at least a couple of yoga classes to learn the proper form and how to tighten your muscles while doing the posture and the required breathing necessary.

This is an excellent book! I've actually traveled down the rocky road (no pun intended) of bulimia and can tell you this book has a wealth of information. I encourage you to buy this book, if you or someone you know is dealing with bulimia.
Based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the techniques in this book have been proven staggeringly effective in clinical trials.
This is the only workbook that specifically addresses the needs of bulimics. It includes the latest, cutting-edge research. The efficacy of this unique step-by-step program has been proven in clinical trials. The authors are leading researchers and experts in the eating disorders field
Severe dieting often results in periods of reactive binge eating, a phenomenon experienced by one in twenty American women. Responses to these periods may include prolonged fasting, self-induced vomiting, abuse of laxatives and diuretics, and obsessive exercise: all symptoms of bulimia.
This workbook contains tools to help bulimics break the cycle of bingeing and reacting, allowing them to take control of their lives and make positive behavior changes. Practical advice and real-life examples reinforce attitudes and offer encouragement. Discover that it is possible to overcome the disorder and live a happier, more fulfilling life.
Idiot bosses are the mutant hiccups of organizational evolution, with cockroach-like immunity to calamities that wipe out truly talented and creative people. Although idiots are barnacles on the ship of executive survival, they can nonetheless serve valuable functions--as long as they're not in charge.
The bad news is that they are often in charge. The good news is that talented and dedicated people can rise above the situation and thrive in spite of their bosses. If How to Work for an Idiot doesn't provide readers with the knowledge and tools to deal with this challenge, it might at least keep them from going postal.
Nearly everyone now works or has worked at one time for an idiot boss. Despite the liberties this book takes with archetypal idiot bosses in the tradition of Dagwood's Mr. Dithers or Dilbert's maddening manager, it also explores methods and techniques to make the relationship with idiots tolerable and even productive.
I had more fun reading this book. I suppose it's because I could relate to it or see myself in the pages staring at my own negotiating skills. I literally could not put this book down and for someone who reads at quite a slow pace, I laughed and buzzed through this book at lightening speed.
Herb Cohen wrote the book on the art of negotiation and now his follow up is here. His classic, "You Can Negotiate Anything," was on the New York Times bestseller list for more than nine months. A practicing negotiator for the past four decades, Cohen has been involved with a variety of headline issues from the Iranian Hostage Crisis and the National Football League Strike to the START Arms Control negotiations and the hijacking of TWA Flight 847. He has also served as a consultant on the Middle East to several U.S. presidents, has been sought by the White House on a myriad of problems from domestic political strategy to international terrorism, and has worked with numerous sports organizations, most
recently the Chicago Bulls, to help team management better negotiate with players and their respective leagues.
Herb can give advice on:
Negotiating the best deals on real estate, cars, raises, purchases, really just about any financial
transaction
How to detach yourself emotionally when negotiating for something
you really want
Negotiating as a parent or a spouse and tips on being better at both

Jim says the U.S. needs to open its doors to more immigration, not less.
This book is amazing and so is Jim. He may be an adventure capitalist, but some people may call him crazy or renaissance man after this trip around the world in ultimate luxury (a custom made Mercedes like you've never seen.) He is the best-selling author of 'Investment Biker' where he went around the world on a motorcyle and this time he chose to go by car. He and his fiance' Paige traveled through 116 countries, including many where most have rarely ventured, such as Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Angola, Sudan, Congo, Columbia, and East Timor. They drove through war zones, deserts, jungles, epidemics, and blizzards - not to mention a few narrow escapes.
They saw the world from the ground up - the only vantage point from which it can be truly understood and appreciated - economically, politically and socially.
