DESCRIPTION: This is an amino acid that has a high sulfur content and is formed in the liver from L-Methionine. It is a strong antioxidant because it protects from the damaging effects of alcohol and smoking. It can then form into the glutathione, which is a tri-peptide (made from three amino acids), and is a powerful antioxidant. It helps protect the body from chemicals, heavy metals, and smoke pollution.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: It helps protect the body from smoke pollution, heavy metals and chemicals affect the immune system. Therefore it has immune-enhancing properties and in treating conditions of the respiratory system; namely, bronchitis, emphysema and tuberculosis. It also helps with burning fat and muscle growth; thereby promoting tissue healing.
