The Moon is in Leo until Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 7:19 AM EDT.
**NOTE -- I write only one (1) Daily Horoscope for all 12 Sun Signs. The Monthly, Yearly and Generational Horoscopes are tailored to each of the 12 Sun Signs.
While there is only one (1) lunar aspect today, it is more than enough to cause us some trouble due to our own self-involvement coming through our self-indulgence or need for attention. The Moon in Leo squaring Jupiter in Scorpio will give you some idea of what Leo energy will be like over the next 13 months as it clashes with Scorpio. Leo energy already leans heavy on the drama thereby making things out to be much more 'dramatic' than they really are, without the help of Jupiter, which now blows the drama out of proportion to what is really going on. Since Jupiter is the higher octave of the Moon, this square takes drama to a whole new level of performance. An Academy Award winning performance! And the Oscar goes to . . . LEO! Whenever Jupiter squares Leo over the next 13 months, if you can envision just stubbing your toe, this would look more like a broken leg instead of just a stubbed toe. Does everyone need to know you stubbed your toe? The drama and need for attention is just over-the-top as the stubbing of the toe becomes a performance.
Leo and Scorpio are natural squares. Whenever two signs separate two other signs, they are square to each other. So in this case, Leo and Scorpio (two signs) are separated by Virgo and Libra (two other signs). While Leo has its own place in the Sun because it is naturally ruled by the Sun, sometimes Leo forgets this fact of cosmic Life and allows jealousy and insecurity to seep in and over-take the emotions. If Leo would just remember that he or she is the King/Queen, full of wisdom, grace and charm, there would be no worries and no competition, but that just isn't the case. The Leo ego comes into play because again, Leo is ruled by the Sun, which rules the ego. It's one thing to call yourself a King/Queen, but it is another thing to behave in the way of the King/Queen with wisdom, grace and charm. Every single time the Moon in Leo squares Jupiter in Leo over the next 13 months, because it will, once a month for the next 13 months, remember this writing. The drama will not work for you, neither will the self-indulgence, but wisdom, grace and charm will. This Leo Moon is all about self-improvement. So improve yourself!
